Our Verdict
I’m not a big fan of the design of the MARVOL, but it definitely stands out in a sea of disposables that all look alike. There’s nothing wrong with the build quality, so whether you like these or not will all come down to personal preference. If you like the look, then there’s nothing inherently bad about the design that would stop me from recommending that you pick these up.
The performance is similar to Vaptex’s BOXMO disposables and the MARVOL delivers an excellent tight MTL draw with good flavor and satisfying vapor. These are much smaller than other large-capacity disposables, so if you are looking for a disposable that is filled with a ton of ejuice, these are about as portable as they get.
The only major downside to the MARVOL is that the draw gets much weaker as the battery dies, so you’ll want to charge it before it dies completely.
If you don’t mind the hyrbid box and tube design, then I can’t find any reason why you shouldn’t pick these disposables up.
Not too long ago, I reviewed Vaptex’s BOXMO disposables. Now, Vaptex has released a new disposable called the MARVOL. It comes filled with 16ml of ejuice and it has a 600mAh battery that can be recharged using Type-C charging. Vaptex advertises the MARVOL as good for up to 6000 puffs.
Vaptex is a vaping manufacturer that specializes in disposable devices. As of the time of writing this review, they offer nine different disposables, and each one is very different from the next. They offer everything from smaller disposables that are very portable, to larger disposables that are prefilled with a ton of ejuice. No matter what you’re looking for, it appears that Vaptex is trying to cover their bases and offer a different device to suit every type of vaper.
If you’re in the market for a new disposable then should you consider the MARVOL?

Design & Build Quality
The MARVOL, like Vaptex’s BOXMO disposables that I recently reviewed, has a design and shape that is completely unique. It’s like a fusion of a round tube disposable and a boxy disposable. Each one is shaped like a slim box, but on one side there’s a clear tube attached, which is where you draw. I haven’t seen another disposable with this sort of design and honestly, it looks kind of weird.
This tube is made of clear plastic and there’s a picture of fruits underneath the plastic which matches the flavor of the disposable. For instance, Mango Ice has a picture of mango pieces, while Strawberry Ice has a picture of strawberries. The flavor is also printed in large, holographic lettering, and there’s a small holographic Vaptex logo as well.
At the top of this tube section is also where the drip tip is located. It’s a non-removable drip tip and, unlike the clear tube, the mouthpiece section has a light frosted tint. The rest of the body of the MARVOL features a matte finish, with the color matching the flavor.
Because of the rounded sides, the MARVOL feels good when I hold it in my hand to vape. It’s certainly not a small disposable, but it’s not as massive as other large-capacity disposables tend to be. These are also quite light, so they aren’t going to add too much weight if you carry around one or two with you out of the house.
Speaking of the capacity, these come prefilled with 16ml of ejuice, which you wouldn’t know from just from looking at them. They appear to only come in one nicotine strength, which is 50mg/ml. These also have a 600mAh battery which can be recharged using the Type-C charging port located on the side of the device. Vaptex states that this makes each MARVOL good for up to 6000 puffs.
On the bottom there’s a small LED light that comes on each time that you take a puff. This light isn’t too bright, so it’s fine to use in dark settings, but it at least gives some indication that it’s working correctly when you draw.
As a whole, I’m not big on the design of the MARVOL. It’s a little too different for my liking, and the hybrid look of a boxy disposable and a tube disposable looks bizarre. However, I will give it to Vaptex that they’ve done something unique here. I can appreciate that they didn’t just copy another disposable or go with a design that would make the MARVOL look like every other disposable on the market. The MARVOL gets points for uniqueness, but loses points on the overall attractiveness of the design.
Flavors
Vaptex’s MARVOL disposable come in 10 different flavors, and at the moment it looks like they only come in 50mg/ml nicotine strength. These 10 flavors are shared with a few of Vaptex’s other disposable vapes.
I’m going to describe how a few of these flavors taste to me and what I think of them. Keep in mind that just because I like a flavor does not mean that you will like it, and vice-versa. This is solely my subjective opinion.
Peach Ice
This is called peach ice, but there’s really not a whole lot of cooling to it. It’s not very noticeable at all, so calling this just “Peach” would have been just as appropriate. This flavor reminds me of fuzzy peach candies and it’s one of my favorite flavors that Vaptex offers. It’s sweet to just the right amount without being too sweet.
Black Currant
This is basically a purple grape flavor that reminds me a lot of grape juice. It’s sweet, smooth, and overall nice to vape on. If you like grape flavors then you should try this flavor out.
Peach Mango Watermelon
As the flavor says, this is a mix of three fruits and they all blend together nicely. Watermelon and peach are the strongest flavors, with a less prominent mango flavor mixed in. It’s a tropical tasting vape flavor and, like their other flavors, the sweetness is done just right.
Strawberry Ice
Like Peach Ice, there isn’t a lot of cooling in this flavor even though the name has “ice” in it. It tastes like natural strawberries without any candying at all, and it has a nice taste to it. The flavor here is sweet of course, but the taste of the strawberries is what makes it for me. It’s hard to describe, but I like how they’ve done the strawberry flavor here.
Blue Razz Lemonade
This is a good blue razz flavor with a twist of lemonade to bring it all together. It’s a good mix of the lemonade and blue razz, and by that I mean that I can taste both the blue razz and the lemonade on the inhale and the exhale. You really taste both flavors at the same time and it’s a good variation of a traditional blue razz flavor.
How Do They Vape?
The MARVOL is a relatively small disposable for the amount of ejuice that it holds and the amount of puffs that it offers. Similarly, I found the performance to be just as good as their larger BOXMO disposables, while still offering a nice tight MTL draw. If you’re looking for something that hits similar to a cigarette in order to switch to vaping, these disposables are a good option. The tight draw and warm vapor are spot-on, and this draw makes me want to reach for the MARVOL when I’m looking to vape on something.
The flavors are also a big factor as to why these are so enjoyable to vape on. All of the flavors taste great, and they aren’t too sweet either. No matter which flavor I use, the draw is smooth and the vapor is not harsh at all. The 50mg nicotine strength is also very satisfying without being rough on my throat.
While I can’t say with complete certainty that the coil is the reason for the excellent performance that I get from the MARVOL’s, it’s likely a big factor. These use a 1.2Ω mesh coil and you can definitely taste that the vapor is smoother, more flavorful, and overall just better than what you would get from a disposable with a regular round wire coil.
Another big positive to these disposables is that they seem to be bulletproof against leaking, spitback, and any other issues. The draw activation has worked great on each of my devices, and none of them came dead out of the box. They’re also all still going strong as I write this review.
One negative to mention is that the draw gets much weaker after a few hundred puffs, which led me to charge them before they completely died out. They aren’t nearly as satisfying to vape on when the battery is dying, as you can feel that the draw is really weak. You’ll end up having to take longer draws just to compensate, so charging them before they die is almost necessary to continue getting a good experience.
