Our Verdict

Beco’s Soft disposables have a nice design that feels great in the hand, a loose mouth to lung draw that is warm and smooth, and they offer a bunch of great flavors. They offer 6000 puffs from the 12ml of ejuice and 1500mAh battery, so a single one is all you need to get you through over a week of vaping. I found them to be much more satisfying than other 50mg disposables, which can be good or bad depending on what you’re looking for.

If you’ve been trying to switch to vaping but found that you’re just not getting the satisfaction that you’re looking for, these disposables might just be what you need to make the switch. However, if you’re used to vaping on 50mg and are already satisfied, these might be too much. Some of these flavors are so good that I want to continuously vape on them, but I just can’t without really feeling the nicotine.

I really enjoyed using these devices and I think that I’ll continue using the flavors that I have when I’m not reviewing other devices. If you’re after a very satisfying 50mg disposable with great flavors, Beco’s Soft disposables are ones to try.

Today, disposable vapes are more popular than ever. Whether you’re seeking a large disposable with enough ejuice to last for a week, or a super portable disposable so you can easily carry multiple flavors with you out of the house, there’s a disposable out there that fits your criteria.

Beco is one vaping company that covers a wide range of options with their many different disposables. Currently, Beco offers 13 different disposable vapes and each one is different from the last.

One of the company’s latest disposables is the Beco Soft. It comes filled with 12ml of ejuice and boasts 6000 puffs from each device. While these are not rechargeable, each one comes with a built-in 1500mAh battery. The Beco Soft uses a 1.1Ω coil for heating and is available in either 20mg or 50mg/ml nicotine strength.

Beco’s website mentions that their company was inspired by the Toucan bird, and states that “just like the Toucan snacks on the tastiest fruits in the jungle, so do our customers, thanks to the extensive array of delicious fruit flavors packed in our vapes”.

Are their flavors really that good? You’ll find out in this review.

Design & Build Quality

  • Beco Soft Disposables - 1

Beco’s Soft disposables get their name (I assume) from the soft touch coating used on the devices. It’s a semi-rubbery, thin layer and it feels nice to hold. It’s a rather odd choice to name your entire device around a single element of the design, but it is a rather prominent element and this soft touch coating covers nearly the entire body of the device.

Each Beco Soft is about the size of a medium sized pod vape. They each measure 76.6mm tall, 43.7mm wide, and 23.5mm deep. It has a box shape with fully rounded sides and rounded edges, and overall it’s a portable size. The fully rounded sides make it comfortable to fully palm and hold in my hand, and there are vertical ridges down one side to help with grip.

Each Beco Soft comes filled with 12ml of ejuice and a built-in 1500mAh battery. Because of the amount of ejuice, as well as the large battery, these disposables have some weight to them. I wouldn’t go so far as to call them heavy, but carrying more than two at a time will add noticeable weight. Basically, they’re still portable, but carrying more than two at a time will weigh your pockets down.

On the front of the device there is a large Beco logo, the name of the device (Soft), and the flavor which is printed below the logo. The flavor is printed in large enough lettering that it’s easy to see at a glance, but not too large that it takes up too much space on the device. Overall, the branding isn’t too much and lets you know the brand and flavor without being obnoxious.

The top and bottom of the Beco Soft do not feature the soft touch coating that is found on the rest of the body. Instead, they are made of a matte plastic which is the same color as the body. The colors for the Beco Soft are all pastel colors and some of them are pretty bright, but the color choices are nice overall.

Some of the colors obviously correspond to the flavor inside, while others aren’t as obvious. For instance, Banana Milk is yellow and obviously matches the yellow of a banana, but Strawberry Pineapple Coconut is black with pink writing which is less obvious to the flavor inside. However, I will say that no two flavors have the same color and writing combination, so once you know what the flavors are and the color of the devices, it’s easy to grab the one that you’re looking for just from the look.

There’s a single airflow hole located on the bottom of the device, and next to it is a small hole for the LED light which also functions as a secondary airflow hole. The LED lights up each time that you vape on the device and it isn’t too large or overly bright. However, If you do want to cover it while vaping in a dark room, this is a problem because covering it affects the draw and makes it hard to pull.

As a whole, the Beco Soft disposables are nice looking devices and the soft touch coating is nice. My only issues are minor; they’ll weigh you down if you’re carrying more than two at a time, and you can’t cover the LED light if you’re vaping in a dark room. Overall they are well-built, comfortable to use, and feel like solid devices.

Flavors

Beco Soft Disposables - 5

Beco’s flavors mostly consist of fruit flavors, but there are some interesting combinations and individual flavors in there. Some of the more interesting flavors are Marshmallow, and Banana Milk. They also have an energy drink flavor and a menthol flavor. If you’re into fruit combos, they’ve got those covered with blueberry raspberry, kiwi passionfruit guava, peach mango watermelon, strawberry pineapple coconut, orange peach, and white grape. If you like fruit and ice, they offer a lush ice, and strawberry ice flavors.

I’m going to describe how a few of these flavors taste to me and what I think of them. Keep in mind that just because I like a flavor does not mean that you will like it, and vice-versa. This is solely my subjective opinion.

White Grape

The aroma from the white grape hits you the second that you open the package and it smells very perfumey, but it’s undeniably grape. The grape component is good, but the flavor is also a little perfumey and sharp. This is not a flavor I can vape on all day and I wish it was a little more fruity and less pungent.

Strawberry Pineapple Coconut

The mix of these three fruit flavors is great. Pineapple is the flavor that I taste the most strongly, followed by strawberry and a subtle coconut flavor. I taste pineapple and strawberries on the inhale, and coconut mixing in on the exhale.

Orange Peach

Peach is the main flavor, but the flavor of oranges isn’t too far behind. The peach flavor is slightly stronger and more prominent,  but both flavors mix together to make a really tasty fruit flavor. This was my favorite Beco Soft flavor that I tried.

Marshmallow

This is a new one for me — a marshmallow flavored vape. The flavor here is sweeter and stronger than an actual marshmallow would be, so it’s as if they took a marshmallow and intensified the taste. The inhale is nice and sweet, and on the exhale is where I taste that signature marshmallow flavor. This flavor could be a little less intense, but I like it nonetheless.

Peach Mango Waterlemon

This is another one of my top flavors from Beco. The inhale provides a nice mix of mango and watermelon where it’s hard to single out which one I’m tasting, and I taste them both at the same time. The exhale is where the peach flavor comes in with a subtle boost to the flavor. This flavor is perfectly sweet and just right overall.

How do they vape?

Beco Soft Disposables - 6

Beco’s Soft disposables use a 1.1Ω stainless steel mesh coil as their heating element, and come filled with 12ml of nicotine salt ejuice in either 20mg or 50mg/ml strength. I like that these use a stainless steel coil as I find that stainless steel provides a cleaner flavor than kanthal.

As a heavy vaper who is used to vaping on 50mg disposables, I’ve been under the impression that I can vape anything, no matter how strong, and never feel like it’s too much. Well, these 50mg disposables proved me wrong. Taking a few draws here and there delivers great satisfaction and I never felt like I needed to vape more. However, on those times where I was sitting at my desk and absent-mindedly taking multiple puffs (like I sometimes do with other disposables and devices), I was definitely feeling it.

The level of nicotine satisfaction that Beco’s Soft disposables provide is extremely high, so even if you’re used to vaping on 50mg disposables, you might find these too strong to vape on in the same way that you currently do.

This is a pro and a con at the same time because while you don’t have to vape as much to get the same satisfaction, you might find the 50mg to be too much if you’re looking for a device to vape on more for the flavor and less for the nicotine. In this case, you could go for their 20mg strength, but then you may not find the 20mg/ml to be satisfying enough.

In addition to being super satisfying, the draw is similarly great. Each one provides a loose mouth to lung draw, with airflow that is smooth and free of any turbulence. The draw activation is very sensitive, so much so that you can activate the draw just by trying to smell the flavor near the mouthpiece. That being said, they don’t take a lot of effort to activate but I haven’t had them activate accidentally.

I went over the individual flavors in the last section, but as a whole the flavor that the Beco Soft provides is great. While some of the flavors are a bit too strong for my liking and could be taken down a notch or two, the stainless steel mesh coil does a good job of producing a full and strong flavor from the ejuice inside.
