The bottom line

WAKA’s SoPro PA10000 disposables are the largest puff count disposables that I’ve seen and the value is certainly there for price-conscious, disposable vapers.

I’m seeing these for sale for as low as $15 USD on some sites, which isn’t that much more expensive than other 5000 puff count disposables. For the price you get 10,000 puffs and a good choice of fruit flavors, along with a great MTL draw and tons of vapor.

Boost mode makes a big difference to the draw but it will be most useful with the lower strength nicotine versions. The higher nicotine strength SoPro PA10000’s will deliver a lot of nicotine per puff with boost mode so I don’t see it being as useful there but it’s still an option that you can try out and see how it works for you.

The main thing to keep in mind is that these are about the size of a single battery vape mod and so portability is a sacrifice that you have to make if you want to have a longer lasting disposable. The value is there, just make sure there’s enough room in your pocket.

History lesson: the first disposable vapes offered 250 to 500 puffs. Then came 1000 puff disposables. From there, the number of puffs that you could get from a disposable vape has continued to rise. In 2023, a 5000 puff disposable is ‘average’ for the amount of puffs offered from a disposable.

Enter the WAKA SoPro PA10000 disposable device. This is the largest puff count disposable that I’ve seen, offering up to 10,000 puffs from each one. That’s double the ‘average’ disposable and so if the puff count is accurate, the SoPro PA10000 could last for over 20 days of vaping (considering 400-500 puffs a day).

In addition to the large amount of puffs provided by the 18ml of ejuice inside, the SoPro PA10000 also has an 850mAh pure cobalt battery for extended battery life per charge. This battery can be recharged with Type-C charging.

Another interesting feature is that the PA10000 comes with something called DUALMESH™ technology, innovated by WAKA. There are two mesh coils inside and you can vape with either one, or both, by flipping a switch on the bottom of the device.

There’s also individual e-liquid and battery life indicators to help you keep an eye on where you’re at with each.

But is the SoPro PA10000 worth the money? I used it for three weeks to find out.

Design & Build Quality

  • WAKA SoPro PA10000 - 1

The SoPro PA10000 is more like a pod vape in size than a disposable. It’s truly a massive device at 95mm tall, 46mm wide, and 28mm thick. As a matter of fact, it’s the same size or even larger than some single battery vape mods.

However, it’s not large for no reason. Seeing as it offers double the puffs (10,000) compared to other ‘average’ disposable devices, the SoPro being double the size is almost expected. It also has a large 850mAh battery, so the larger size is the tradeoff for longer usage.

In addition to the size, the SoPro PA10000 weighs a noticeable 100g. It’s impossible to conceal it in my hand, so stealth vaping is out of the question. Due to the size and weight, using one at a time is recommended. I’m the type of vaper that likes to keep a couple of flavors with me on-the-go but that’s just not feasible with the size and weight of these.

While the size of these is large, the design is lowkey and understated. No matter which flavor you get, all of the SoPro PA10000 devices feature a two-tone white and black design. The white, shiny outer shell wraps around the back and sides of the device, enveloping the shiny black plastic inner portion.

WAKA SoPro PA10000 - 11

There’s a lot of branding, so much so that you won’t forget who makes the device. WAKA is printed in large font on the back of the device, as well on the right side of the outer shell. The flavor is printed in a black bubble on the back and, since there’s no difference in colors between the flavors, this is the only way to know which flavor you’re using.

The WAKA logo is what appears to be an alien head and it’s featured front and center on the SoPro PA10000. Below this is a rectangle of purely decorative diagonal lines, and below this is where you can find the individual battery and ejuice indicator lights.

The mouthpiece is wide and nicely sloped. It’s made of the same black, shiny plastic as the inner body. The opening is quite wide, so you have to be careful with dust getting trapped in there, but it still provides a tight MTL draw.

The bottom of the device is where you’ll find the “Boost” switch which allows you to activate the two mesh coils inside. There’s also a Type-C charging port here for recharging the device when the battery dies.

Features

WAKA SoPro PA10000 - 10

The SoPro PA10000 is the largest puff count disposable that I’ve ever had my hands on, so it goes without saying that this is one of the main features and selling points of the device. If you’re the type of vaper who wants to be able to use a single device for as long as possible without having to perform any maintenance whatsoever (aside from recharging), the SoPro PA10000 was made for you.

10,000 puffs from a single device is a lot and WAKA estimates that it should last at least 10 days. If you consider that the average vaper is vaping 400-500 puffs a day, these should actually last 20+ days if the puff count is accurate.

There’s 18ml of ejuice inside of each device, with the nicotine strength depending on where you’re located. For vapers in Canada, the SoPro PA10000 is offered in 18mg/ml strength. Vapers in Latin America can get this device in 50mg/ml, and vapers in Australia can get it in 35mg/ml strength.

The battery inside is a pure cobalt 850mAh battery. I’m glad to see that the battery isn’t just another 500mAh or 650mAh battery like you would find on most other disposables. This battery can recharge up to 80% battery life in 45 minutes, with a full charge taking around an hour and 10 minutes.

The upgraded battery capacity is good news because if you’re using the dual mesh coils, that’s going to need more battery life for the same amount of puffs as a single mesh coil. This 850mAh capacity ensures that battery life won’t be dramatically shortened even if you’re using boost mode.

But what is Boost mode anyway? On the bottom of the SoPro PA10000 there’s a switch that can be toggled on or off. When off, the switch is black and only uses a single mesh coil at 10.8W. When toggled on, the switch turns orange and uses both mesh coils at 10.8W each.

Boost mode provides denser vapor, fuller flavor, a warmer draw, and higher nicotine satisfaction than the single coil mode. Whether you use it or not will be up to your personal preference. However, I found it to be especially useful with the 18mg/ml strength because it provides better nicotine satisfaction than the single coil mode; good for those times when you’re seeking a little extra from your vape.

There are two individual indicators located on the bottom-front of the SoPro PA10000. These are a battery life indicator and an ejuice level indicator. These indicators make monitoring your battery and ejuice much easier, giving you a clear heads-up as to when you need to charge or get a new device altogether. The indicators function as follows:

  • Green light: >70%
  • Blue light: 30% to 70%
  • Red light: Under 30%

Flavors

WAKA SoPro PA10000 - 2

Based on the laws and regulations of the country and region you live in, your flavor availability may vary. The flavors options for the SoPro PA10000 depend on where you live, with Latin America getting 10 flavors, Canada getting 15 flavors, and Australia getting 25. The full list of available flavors is:

  • Berry Shisha
  • Blackberry Ice
  • Blueberry Ice
  • Cacao Banana Crust
  • Cherry Pomegranate
  • Double Apple
  • Fizzy Cherry
  • Fresh Mint
  • Grape Ice
  • Ice Cola
  • Kiwi Passion Guava
  • Lemon Lime Bitters
  • Mango Peach
  • Minty Apple Tea
  • Orange Kiwiberry
  • Pineapple Melon
  • Raspberry Tea
  • Strawberry Banana
  • Strawberry Kiwi
  • Strawberry Soda
  • Strawberry Watermelon
  • Triple Berry
  • Triple Mango
  • Triple Melon
  • Watermelon Chill

The flavor options are clearly fruit-centric, with some drink and mint options scattered in there. I’m going to describe how five of these flavors taste to me and what I think of them. However, keep in mind that just because I like a flavor that does not mean that you will like it. Similarly, if I don’t like a flavor this does not mean that you will not like it. This is solely my subjective opinion.

Blueberry Raspberry

The balance between the blueberry and raspberry flavors is excellent. The raspberry flavor is what I taste first and it’s sweet and tart. The blueberry flavor is similar but more sweet and less tart than the raspberry. Overall sweetness level is 7.5 out of 10 so it’s nice to vape all day.

Raspberry Watermelon

Watermelon is what I taste the most strongly. The raspberry flavor is here but it’s harder to taste and rather subtle. If you’re going to buy this flavor for the raspberry component then you will be disappointed, but watermelon lovers will like the natural watermelon flavor. Overall sweetness is 6/10.

Strawberry Kiwi

Out of the five that I tried, this is my favorite flavor. It’s a 50/50 mix of strawberry and kiwi and tastes exactly how I imagine a good strawberry kiwi flavor should. Neither flavor is too strong and you can’t taste them individually. Instead, they’re both mixed together for a right balance of strawberry and kiwi notes all throughout the inhale and exhale. Overall sweetness is 7/10.

Strawberry Banana

Like strawberry kiwi, the strawberry and banana flavors are a 50/50 mix and perfectly balanced. It’s basically like drinking a smoothie in vape form. It’s hard to single out any individual flavor throughout the inhale or exhale because I taste both at the same time. This flavor takes a close second to strawberry kiwi for me. Overall sweetness is 7/10.

Watermelon Chill

The watermelon flavor here is more pronounced and full than raspberry watermelon, with very light cooling added in. There’s a very slight candy taste to this flavor as well but for the most part it’s a natural flavor throughout. I like this flavor even more than raspberry watermelon just based purely off of the watermelon flavor. Overall sweetness is 6/10.

How do they vape?

WAKA SoPro PA10000 - 3

The SoPro PA10000 is a disposable that you’re going to be using for at least a week (probably more), so performance really matters here. Where lower puff count disposables don’t need to concern themselves too much with longevity, it’s a factor that really matters when you’re looking to get 10,000 puffs from a single disposable.

With the SoPro 10000, the flavor and consistency are excellent. The flavor stays full and bold even after thousands of puffs. I can’t put an exact number on how many puffs I’ve gone through with these but I’ve been vaping 400-500 puffs per day, using one device per day, for the past 3 weeks. The battery life is also good, managing to last through to the end of a second full day of vaping with each charge.

The boost switch is great to have, especially with the lower nicotine strength that we’re restricted to in Canada. While they’re only 18mg/ml strength, turning the boost switch on to use both mesh coils at 10.8W each really improved the draw and nicotine satisfaction.

If you’re purchasing the higher nicotine strength versions, like 35mg/ml or 50mg/ml then you’ll want to be careful with the boost switch. I probably wouldn’t use it at all with the 50mg/ml and would use it sparingly with the 35mg/ml strength. You’re getting double the vapor (and nicotine) when you activate the boost mode, so don’t go overdoing it!

The MTL draw is surprisingly good and tight considering the size of the mouthpiece opening. The draw activation works just fine too and I have not had it cut out or fail to activate on me with any of the devices that I’ve been using.

Verdict
