The bottom line
The NEXA Ultra 50000 is the first disposable that Iโve used from the brand and it has made a very good first impression.
The benefits of the separate ejuice tank might be a bit technical but it makes a clear difference to the freshness, flavor, and overall amount of puffs that you get out of the device. I wonโt be surprised to see more disposable vapes adopt this method of ejuice delivery; I think that NEXA has really pioneered the future of disposables with this device.
In the future, I would like to see a larger battery and maybe different nicotine strengths available for NEXAโs next high-puff disposable device. Otherwise, the NEXA Ultra 50000 hits all the right spots for a good disposable vape โ and then some.
For MTL vapers who are looking to get longer use out of their disposables, I can easily give this device my recommendation.

NEXA is a vaping brand that has been getting some noticeable hype lately. Iโve heard a lot about their products (mostly good things) but Iโve never had the chance to use them. Well, that all changed a few weeks ago when I was tasked with reviewing their latest disposable vape, the NEXA Ultra 50000.
The NEXA Ultra 50000 is really interesting for a number of reasons. Firstly, it offers up to 50,000 puffs in normal mode, which is more than double the amount of puffs that you would get from most high-puff disposables.
Secondly, it comes with the ejuice tank separated from the battery โ you have to put them together yourself before vaping. This not only eliminates the chances of leaking in the box, but I also imagine that it keeps the ejuice more fresh.
Other noteworthy specs are a clear e-liquid tank, two vaping modes, and a percentage battery life readout. The NEXA Ultra 50000 has an 800mAh battery that recharges with 2A Type-C charging.
With great specs and 15 flavors available at launch, with more promised to be coming soon, is the NEXA Ultra 50000 a good pick for a high-puff disposable vape?ย
- Size: 100mm x 53mm x 28mm
- Weight: 94g (Battery + Cartridge)
- 800mAh Rechargeable battery
- 2A Type-C Charging
- 2 Wattage settings: Normal, Turbo
- Up to 50,000 Puffs
- 5% (50mg) Nicotine content
- Draw activated
- Adjustable Airflow
- MTL draw
- 15 Flavor options
Getting Started
When you first open the box, youโll notice that the NEXA Ultra 50000 comes packaged a little differently than other disposable vapes. The battery and ejuice tank are individually packaged and you have to put them together before you can vape. Is this the IKEA furniture of vapes? Am I making a vape out of lego? There should be a โsome assembly requiredโ label on the box!
Jokes aside, itโs not difficult to get the device ready to go and I can see a number of benefits in keeping the ejuice tank detached from the battery until itโs ready to be used. For one, it eliminates any chances of leaking in the box. Two, it keeps the eliquid and wick fresh which means better flavor.
Setting up the NEXA Ultra 50000 is simple. Thereโs a rubber cap that you have to remove from the side of the battery and a silicone plug that you have to remove from the mouthpiece. Next, take the ejuice tank and line up the foil-covered hole with the wick that is protruding out the side of the battery. Give it a firm push and youโll hear a โclickโ, signaling that the two pieces are put together properly.
Although the instructions donโt say to wait before using the device, I highly recommend that you do. I gave each of my devices at least 10 minutes for the wick to absorb the ejuice because otherwise, Iโm sure that they would burn. Just to play it safe and wait 5-10 minutes after putting the device together before vaping.
Design & Build Quality
Once assembled, the NEXA Ultra 50000 is what you would expect from a disposable vape. Itโs tall and large compared to other disposables that Iโve used, but itโs still smaller than I would expect for a device that promises 50,000 puffs.
Dimensions for the NEXA Ultra 50000 are 100mm tall, 53mm wide, and 28mm deep, with a weight of around 94g. Thereโs no way that Iโm concealing this in my hand so stealth vaping is out of the question, especially because of the flashy light show that goes off each time that I draw.ย
Some devices like the DOJO Sphere X and Geekbar Pulse X have gone with a starry space theme for their lighting but the NEXA Ultra 50000 brings a technology theme to the table. Each draw lights the device up with a circuit board theme that dances around the device. This lighting is bright even in normal lighting and very bright in a dark room.
A chip socket sort of icon also lights up around the front of the device with the battery percentage displayed in the middle of it.
My personal thoughts on the lighting is that it looks cool but itโs sure to attract wandering eyes and elicit a few weird looks if used in public. If youโre looking for a conversion starter then this could be the vape to do it! Wouldnโt that be an odd โhow I met your motherโ story!
Instead of a remaining ejuice indicator, the NEXA Ultra 50000 does one better with a clear ejuice tank. This tank has four notches on it to more easily keep track of how much ejuice youโve used. I like the clear tank much better than an ejuice indicator because you can visually see how much is left, instead of relying on a readout that could be completely inaccurate.
Branding is kept to a minimum with a small NEXA logo on the front of the device. The flavor is printed just above the logo.
While the device is a little large, I like the design overall. It feels solid once assembled and the ejuice tank stays firmly attached. If you didnโt know that the two-piece were user-assembled then you probably wouldnโt guess it from the solid feel.ย
Features
The NEXA Ultra 50000 is an ultra-high-puff disposable vape, offering more puffs than any other disposable vape on the market today. But the high amount of puffs isnโt what I found the most interesting about the device. Instead, itโs how it manages to offer this amount of puffs that is most interesting.
Most disposable vapes donโt have an eliquid tank like the NEXA Ultra 50000. They usually have a large piece of cotton (wick) that surrounds the coil and all of the ejuice is held by this cotton. As you vape, the cotton slowly dries out until ejuice is no longer saturating near the coil. At this point, you get a burnt taste and the vape is done for. But thereโs still ejuice left in the cotton, itโs just dispersed throughout the cotton and unable to concentrate near the coil.
The NEXA Ultra 5000 solves this problem by keeping a short wick that leads directly from the ejuice tank to the coil. Thereโs no large piece of cotton holding all of the ejuice and so the device is able to use and vaporize all of the ejuice in the tank. The way that this device uses ejuice is more similar to refillable devices like tanks and pod vapes.
So while another disposable vape might come prefilled with 15ml of ejuice, you might only get to use 12ml. The NEXA Ultra 50000 comes with 20ml of ejuice and you can use all of it โ and thatโs how it achieves more puffs than other disposables on the market today.
Itโs worth noting that there are two modes: normal and TURBO. The NEXA Ultra 50000 is rated for 50,000 puffs in normal mode but 30,000 puffs in TURBO mode. If you want to get the most puffs then youโll want to keep it in normal mode.
Airflow
The adjustable airflow slider for the NEXA Ultra 50000 is located on the bottom of the device. If you leave it open then it allows for a mouth to lung draw with some restriction. When you close down the airflow it gets progressively tighter, down to a tight mouth to lung draw with very little airflow.
Wide open or just slightly closed was how I liked the airflow. Closing it down too much makes it difficult to draw and mutes the flavor too. The airflow slider feels good, is firm, and offers a nice range of adjustability to really dial in the mouth-to-lung draw.
Battery life & Charging
This device comes with an 800mAh battery and support for 2A Type-C charging. 800mAh is pretty average for a battery these days and I would have liked to see a larger battery like 1000mAh or larger for an ultra-high-puff disposable like this.
The average capacity battery translates into average battery life, netting me about two days of use per charge. The first charge left me about halfway to the first notch on the ejuice tank. The second charge left me just at the first notch. Each subsequent charge after this used about one notch of ejuice on the tank.
With the above in mind, you can expect to get around six full charges of use out of each NEXA Ultra 50000 before the ejuice tank is depleted. If you vape a lot like me then thatโs going to be nearly two weeks of use per device, which isnโt bad at all.
I timed a few charges from the device being completely dead and each one took just over an hour to complete.
Flavors
There are fifteen flavors available for the NEXA ULTRA 50000, with more coming soon. These flavors are:
- B-Pop
- Blue Razz Ice
- Blueberry Watermelon
- Cherry Bomb
- Cool Mint
- Fcuking Fab
- Georgia Peach Ice
- Mango Oasis
- Miami Mint
- Sour Apple Ice
- Strawberry Banana
- Strawberry Ice
- Triple Berry
- Watermelon Ice
- White Gummy Ice
Iโm going to describe how five of these flavors taste to me and what I think of them. However, keep in mind that just because I like a flavor that does not mean that you will like it. Similarly, if I donโt like a flavor this does not mean that you will not like it. This is solely my subjective opinion.
Strawberry Banana
A nice balanced strawberry and banana flavor. The strawberry flavor hits most strongly on the inhale and the banana flavor comes through at the end. Medium level of sweetness and a nice natural flavor.
Triple Berry
A lot of blueberry taste here with a medium-high level of sweetness. It tastes a bit candy-like and rather tasty. Iโm not positive on what the three berries are in this flavor but it tastes nice and fruity.
Georgia Peach Ice
Thereโs a really deep, juicy, and full peach taste from this flavor. Itโs sweet but light and has a slight fuzzy peaches taste to it. Light cooling is present. This is easily one of my favorite flavors.ย
Mango Oasis
Like Georgia Peach Ice, the flavor is light but sweet. The mango flavor is natural and authentic and only really comes through fully on the exhale. The inhale has light notes of mango but itโs nothing like the flavor on the exhale.
White Gummy Ice
This is one of the best gummy candy flavors that Iโve tried. Itโs literally like vaping on a bag of white gummy bears. The cooling is more noticeable than the other ice flavors that I tried but still at a medium level.
How do they vape?
The NEXA Ultra 50000 is only available in 50mg/ml nicotine strength so theyโre going to be for heavy vapers or ex-smokers who are used to high nicotine vapes. Theyโre going to be strong for anyone who isnโt used to high-nicotine disposables but will hit just right if youโre a 5% vaper already.
As someone who usually vapes 2%, these took a little bit of getting used to for me. I found normal mode to be strong for a while but eventually it felt just right. I tried using TURBO mode a few times but it was overwhelming and not a fun experience.
In normal mode the draw is really great. I get more than enough flavor and a lot of vapor too. I can just take a few draws here and there and feel satisfied, which is perfect for me.
The flavor has stayed consistent with all my units, even after multiple charges. I havenโt finished an entire device yet but Iโm on the last notch with my Georgia Peach Ice unit and the flavor and vaping experience are unchanged from when I first pulled it out of the package.
Verdict

Why can’t they have were you can replace the tank?โฝ? It’s a shame to have to throw it away!! Have where we can replace the tank!!
I agree with her
You’re right! This definitely seems like a missed opportunity by NEXA.
You can pull the tank off and refill it
I tried to get it off but it was a struggle! Did you manage to remove it?
It seems like even if you can get the tank off, it’s going to be pretty messy to reassemble!
Mine leaked and 50k puffs went in less then 2 weeks cause of it.did anyone else’s leak or last longer?
Mine didnt. I have had like 4 of them and none of them leaked? Maybe you dropped yours or something and it caused a loose seal or something. I feel like that can happen.
Can you remove the pod after installing it???
No, you can’t remove the pod once it’s installed.
Mine has a e2 light flashing and wonโt hit whatโs wrong with it?
I believe that the E2 code signals a short circuit, which would mean that there’s something internally wrong with the coil in the tank. There’s likely not much that you can do about it, but you can try to wiggle around the pod or push it more into the device to see if that helps.
If you got the device recently, I recommend contacting NEXA directly for after-sales support.
