The bottom line
The Blast 10K Fresh is a great addition to the DOJO range, offering simple and fuss-free MTL vaping, clever quality-of-life features, and reliable and efficient performance.
The flavors available in the Fresh range are fairly limited, but every one that I tried tasted natural, vibrant, and pretty damn fresh. The flavor combinations seem thoughtful and, in the case of the Match Strawberry, pretty unique in the world of pre-filled pod systems. The fact that you can also use refills from the original or older Blast devices is a bonus and means you actually have access to around 40 flavors.
Do I think that the INSTA-JUICED system is going to change anyone’s life? No, but anything that helps to keep vape juice in tip-top condition, preserve flavor, and prevent waste has to be a good thing.
When considered alongside the generous 1000mAh battery, COREX BLAST dual mesh coil, and that multi-layer leak prevention you get with this device, it becomes clear that some serious thought has been put into making the Blast 10K Fresh a cost-effective and user-friendly vape.
If you want a simple, consistent, enjoyable MTL vaping experience, with truly tasty flavors, in a pre-filled pod system that is easy to use and will give you days of use from each refill, the DOJO Blast 10K Fresh range is well worth a look.

Product Overview
The Blast 10K Fresh is the latest addition to the DOJO Blast family of reusable pre-filled pod vapes. With just 8 flavors compared to the original range’s 30+, the Fresh devices seem more focused on delivering vibrant, natural flavors and features designed to keep the e-liquid in perfect condition, rather than trying to hit every flavor profile a user could want.
The Blast 10K Fresh devices include a generous 1000mAh battery, and each kit or refill pod holds 10ml of 20mg strength vape juice. Aimed at MTL vapers, this combination means that each pod should be perfectly capable of providing several days of use to the average vaper.
Having got my hands on several of the new devices in a range of flavors, I was keen to find out if these pod vapes could live up to their promise, and to see where they fit among not only the other DOJO Blast devices, but also other similar pre-filled vapes available right now.

Design & Build Quality
The design of the DOJO Blast 10K Fresh is solid, nice, and comfortable, but not particularly unusual. In terms of size and shape, it sits somewhere between the chunkiest Big Puff vapes and a traditional tall, slim pod system, coming in at just over 100mm tall, 37mm wide, and 25mm deep. Although this is a reusable pre-filled pod system, it looks like a true single-use disposable in its styling. Bright colors, a chunky body, smoothly rounded edges, and prominent branding are the order of the day here.
The size and shape make it very comfortable to hold for long periods, and at around 70g when full, it is light enough that you will barely feel it in your pocket or bag. As would likely be expected, despite this being a reusable vape, the body is entirely made from plastic. Pretty solid and strong plastic by the feel of it, but plastic nonetheless.
All of the colors available are fairly bright, as befits this general type of device, but probably slightly more subtle than is often the case. The colors sometimes, sort of, maybe, fit with the flavors inside the pre-filled pods, but sometimes do not. The Matcha Strawberry kit is green and red, which makes sense, but Berry Lemonade is marbled green, which makes less sense. However, if you are anything like me, you don’t choose this type of device based on the color you prefer; you choose for the flavor, and whatever color that happens to be is what it is.
The large pre-filled pods sit inside a deep socket and are held by strong magnets. It all feels very secure and solid, and never feels like the two parts will come apart accidentally. The mouthpiece is fairly small and narrow, and very nicely sculpted to be comfortable and suitable for MTL vaping. All in all, a nicely designed, solid-feeling, comfortable device.
Features
This pre-filled pod system is generally simple to use and has fewer features than a refillable pod vape. And that is likely expected and preferred by the type of user they are aimed at. There’s no digital display, no airflow slider, and no power mode options, making this about as close to being a plug-and-play device as you can find. There are, however, a few features hidden away inside the DOJO Blast 10K Fresh.
The first is the INSTA-JUICED system, which is all about keeping the e-liquid fresh on the shelf so that you get the best experience when the vape is unboxed, assembled, and used. Unlike the standard version of the Blast 10K, which used a 2ml pod connected to an 8ml refill tank, the Fresh version uses an unfilled pod and a 10ml tank. The pod contains the coil, battery contacts, etc., while the tank is completely sealed off from the air. Only when the two parts are connected before use is the e-liquid allowed to flow into the coil chamber.
This is designed to keep the e-liquid fresh and tasting great for up to 365 days, and it certainly seems to do a good job. The flavors in every cartridge I tested were crisp, vibrant, and tasted fresh. Whether they would still taste as fresh after sitting on my shelf for a year, I can’t say, but it certainly seems like a good way to keep vape juice in good condition.
The device does have a battery level display, comprised of four LEDs, which gives you a basic but seemingly fairly precise idea of how much power you have left in the 1000mAh cell that’s tucked away inside the device.
Flavors
The original DOJO Blast 10K flavor range encompasses dozens of flavors, but the new Fresh range comprises a more select group of eight. Almost all combine two or more fruit or dessert flavors, but a couple (Fresh Mint and Blackcurrant GB) have a single flavor profile if you prefer something simpler.
It’s worth noting here that the Blast 10K Fresh device is entirely compatible with the original pre-filled cartridges. That gives you access to the dozens of flavors (around 30, I believe) that are available for the original Blast 10K, Blast 10K Pro, and Blast 30K Pro devices.
The full Blast 10K Fresh flavor lineup is:
- Berry Lemonade
- Berry Cherry Limeade
- Pina Colada
- Matcha Strawberry
- Fresh Mint
- Blue Razz GB
- Blackcurrant GB
- Rhubarb Custard Sweet
Sadly, I didn’t get to test every flavor in the range, but here’s what I thought of the ones I did get to try. As always, keep in mind that just because I like a flavor, that does not mean that you will like it, and vice versa. This is solely my subjective opinion.
Berry Lemonade
The term “berry” in vape juice can mean any number of fruits, but it is clear from the first draw on Berry Lemonade that the berries used here are strawberry and raspberry. A hint of tartness from the lemonade and the ice kick reins in the sweetness nicely.
Berry Cherry Limeade
The cherry and lime notes are what really stand out in this flavor. Without the lime and the cooling, it could have been a bit rich and cloying, but those two elements balance the richness of the cherry to produce a really nice and pretty unique flavor mix.
Pina Colada
I got more of the coconut and rich vanilla flavors here than I did the pineapple. You can tell that there is some sort of tropical fruit in there, but it might not be completely obvious if you don’t already know what goes in a Piña Colada cocktail. Slightly sweet for my taste.
Matcha Strawberry
Not a huge fan of matcha tea, but maybe I should give it another go because this flavor is great. The sweet and unmistakable taste of the strawberry hits first, but is quickly followed by an interesting milky green tea flavor. Sweet, but very pleasant to vape, and apparently the first and only such flavor combination on the market.
Fresh Mint
Mint flavor vapes are so easy to get wrong that it is always nice to find one that hits the mark. The Fresh Mint flavor in this range is definitely one that got things right. Minty, cooling, refreshing, not too much sweetness. About as good as mint vapes get for me.
How long do they last?
The Blast 10K Fresh features a reasonably generous (for this type of device) 1000mAh battery. Considering that the device is unlikely to be outputting more than 15 or 18W, that’s more than enough for multi-day vaping from a single charge, even if you are a fairly heavy user.
During my tests, the average was close to three days of use between charges. I hit these vapes pretty heavily when I am reviewing, so I would not be surprised if a light user got closer to 4 days of use. Recharging, at close to an hour from empty, is not particularly fast due to the device only using a 1A USB port, but that shouldn’t be a huge problem if you only have to do it once every three or more days.
When it comes to how long the 10ml of e-liquid lasts, that will obviously also depend on how heavily you vape. DOJO suggests (for the original Blast 10K) that 10ml of 20mg juice could last a light user up to 4 weeks and a heavy user around 7 days, and that doesn’t sound too far off to me. After all, the device’s low-power output and seemingly efficient COREX Blast dual mesh coils don’t seem to burn through much juice per puff.
The first full pod I inserted lasted me for just under a week. The second pod, when I was vaping less vigorously, lasted closer to 10 days. I am doubtful 10ml would last even light users the 4 weeks that DOJO estimates, but even if it lasts 2 to 3 weeks, it would be pretty cost-effective.
How do they vape?
If MTL is your thing, the Blast 10K Fresh is going to please you. The draw is fairly tight and produces only a relatively small amount of vapor, which is fine for MTL vaping. Thankfully, it provides a good throat hit (although this can vary depending on the flavor you choose), and each draw is consistent and satisfying.
The dual mesh coil and COREX BLAST system seem very efficient, firing almost instantly, providing consistently good flavor and vapor, and giving trouble-free use. I couldn’t find much information on COREX BLAST, but I have to assume it is a version of VAPORESSO’s COREX coil technology, which comprises several features designed to produce improved flavors, dense vapor, and smooth hits.
There is no adjustable airflow slider on this device, which means you don’t have the ability to adjust the tightness of the draw to any great degree. There is an airflow hole on the base of the device which tightens the draw very slightly if covered with a fingertip. However, the difference is not great, and trying to cover the hole while using the device is a bit fiddly.
I noticed a very slight drop in flavor and firing efficiency when the battery was very low, but nothing major, and certainly not enough to ruin the vaping experience. On some occasions, this was actually useful as it alerted me to the fact that I needed to plug the vape into the wall when I wasn’t paying attention to the LED lights.
