FEELM Max Disposables

FEELM Max Disposables - 3

CONS

The bottom line

FEELM Max Disposables with TOPOWER tech are really technologically innovative and impressive disposables. The fact that these can go for 6000 puffs without charging is nuts, especially when you consider that the flavor is good and the draw remains consistent for the entire lifespan.

It was odd to review these devices, especially since they’re so far removed from what you may actually receive at a store. These aren’t going to be sold directly to consumers, but instead to brands who will contract FEELM to manufacture their products. With this in mind, you’ll likely be seeing disposables with FEELM Max ceramic coils and TOPOWER technology in stores soon, but they probably won’t look like the ones that I reviewed here.

Still, if you’re a consumer then there’s still some points that you can take away from this review. For one, the technology is solid and definitely a big advancement for non-rechargeable disposable devices. Another good takeaway is that the consistency of this coil is excellent and so any device using it will likely be pretty good (assuming that the flavors are something that you like).

There aren’t any major drawbacks to these that I’ve found, but if I had to nitpick I could list a few minor cons.

The opaque-looking mouthpiece is nice for design purposes, but making it easier to see into would be a benefit for consumers. The flavors are also all ice and it would have been nice to have received some non-ice ones. I also wish that I had received some nicotine-containing versions to try so I could review the throat hit and satisfaction.

Overall, I’m excited to see the disposables that end up using FEELM’s technology in the future. I’ll certainly be trying to get my hands on them to test out.

FEELM is a brand belonging to SMOORE, the parent company of well-known vaping brand VAPORESSO. FEELM specializes in pod systems and ceramic coil technology, the latter of which has been used in multiple vaping devices around the world such as RELX and NJOY.

Today, I’m reviewing one of FEELM’s latest devices; the FEELM Max. This product is only for sale to global vaping brands, not for direct sales to consumers. However, since FEELM is providing OEM services for brands to design and launch their disposables based on this device, the performance is certainly important.

For example, you may go to your local vape store and find a disposable vape that is using the FEELM Max ceramic coil inside. Chances are that it’s based on this device.

The FEELM Max offers over 6000 puffs; all without needing to be recharged. FEELM calls this “TOPOWER” technology, which increases the endurance of large e-liquid capacity vapes and eliminates the need for charging the device.

If you’re a brand looking for OEM services, should you go with the FEELM Max? What if you’re a consumer considering purchasing a disposable that uses a FEELM Max coil and/or TOPOWER tech? I tested these disposables to find out.

Design & Build Quality

  • FEELM Max Disposables - 4

I’ll start off this section by saying that the samples that I received from FEELM are marked as preproduction. Further, while this is the shape and design of the models that I’m testing, FEELM offers the option for companies to design the product to their liking. With that being said, the specific design of these disposables is not as important as the individual design elements and overall build quality.

The FEELM Max disposable is a tall, cylindrical, and pen-shaped device. Each one is 124mm tall, with a diameter of 24mm, so they are rather large for disposables but feel comfortable in the hand.

But as we all know by now, disposables aren’t large for just no reason, and these devices aren’t any exception. Each one will get you up to 6000 puffs, and holds a battery that is large enough to reach this large amount of puffs without needing to be recharged.

With the size of each one, these aren’t disposables that you will want to carry multiple with you at once. I usually took just one with me each time that I left the house, as carrying all four would have bulked up my pockets significantly.

The design is pretty neat, with a matte-metallic silver pattern printed on top of a glossy metallic base. Each flavor features a different base color, for example Double Apple Ice is green, while Green Plum Ice is dark red. The wavy silver pattern gives these a trippy look, but it’s one that is very cool and unique.

The body of each of these feels solid. There’s no flex in my hand, even when I squeeze hard. The finish is also of good quality and I haven’t had any fading or wearing of the pattern at all.

On the front of each one is a FEELM Max logo, along with the slogan “The Ultimate Sensation”. Around the back side of each device is the flavor, nicotine strength, and “Tester not for sale”, just to spoil any plans that I had about trying to resell these (kidding, of course).

A really nice feature of these disposables is the mouthpiece area, which is also the tank for the ejuice. At first, you might think that it’s opaque black plastic. However, if you hold it up to a light source then you can actually see into the tank to see how much ejuice is left in there.

The mouthpiece itself is slim, wide, and rounded, so it’s nice on the lips and feels natural and comfortable to vape on.

On the opposite end of the vape is a green LED which lights up each time that you take a draw.

As a whole, these disposables are nicely made and the build quality seems to be quite good. There haven’t been any issues that I’ve encountered during my few weeks of use, so I give the FEELM Max Disposables a solid pass in the design and build quality departments.

Features

FEELM Max Disposables - 1

Because these are samples that are made to showcase what FEELM can produce, the specifics of the devices that I’m using may not be of the utmost importance. The ejuice capacity, battery size, and puff count aren’t important as individual specifications, but rather how they all come together as a whole.

FEELM can produce disposables with a range of puff counts, ejuice capacities, and battery sizes, depending on what a company is looking for with their device.

In the case of the devices that I’m using right now, these are able to achieve over 6000 puffs without needing to be recharged. That’s extremely impressive and definitely a huge technical innovation.

These disposables use two of FEELM’s advances to achieve this: their FEELM Max ceramic coil, and their TOPOWER technology.

The FEELM Max ceramic coil is a coil that has already been used by other vaping companies in their products, so you may have used it before. This coil doesn’t use any cotton, and results in more puffs from ejuice. It also more finely and fully atomizes ejuices, leading to smaller particles and thus better flavor.

Their TOPOWER tech is also pretty cool. According to FEELM, this tech results in a 30% larger battery capacity in a 30% smaller size. It also uses less battery and does not discharge as quickly, resulting in longer battery life; especially important for when it is not being used.

All of this comes together to make these FEELM Max Disposables which can put out 6000 puffs without needing to be hooked up to a charger.

Flavors

FEELM Max Disposables - 2

FEELM offers the ability for vaping companies to customize the flavor that will be in their products as part of their OEM services. That being said, there isn’t an exact list of available flavors for the FEELM Max disposables. However, I was sent four of their flavors to try and test out.

How they perform should give you a good idea of whether or not their technologies really make a difference to the vaping experience. The four flavors that I received are Green Plum Ice, Aloe Vera Grape Ice, Mango Passion Fruit Ice, and Double Apple Ice. That’s a lot of ice flavors!

I’m going to describe how these flavors taste to me and what I think of them. However, keep in mind that just because I like a flavor that does not mean that you will like it. Similarly, if I don’t like a flavor this does not mean that you will not like it. This is solely my subjective opinion.

Green Plum Ice

Green Plum Ice is a light but refreshing flavor. It has a ‘perfumey’ sort of taste, but since it’s not too heavy or sweet it’s actually very nice. The level of ice in this flavor is mild but still present enough to be noticeable. I haven’t tried enough plum flavors to truly say if the flavor is authentic, but it’s a floral and pleasant taste.

Aloe Vera Grape Ice

This is a refreshing flavor combo, which I think is a running theme with FEELM’s offerings. It’s balanced in sweetness and has light floral notes that accentuate the grape flavor. This is great for vaping on a hot day, as I feel it brings out that summery feeling. The ice isn’t too strong in this flavor and is even more subtle than Green Plum Ice.

Mango Passion Fruit Ice

This is easily my favorite flavor that FEELM sent me. The ice component will really give you a kick if you take too big of a draw, but otherwise it’s very tasty. The mango and passion fruit are a great combo with sweetness that is about a 7/10. It’s a flavor that you can vape on all day without getting sick or tired of it.

Double Apple Ice

This is one of the most natural tasting apple flavors that I’ve vaped on. It’s almost exactly the flavor you would get from a real apple; sweet but not too sugary or candied. There’s a healthy blast of ice with large draws or with quick successive draws, so ice lovers will enjoy it too. This is a close second for the best flavor that they sent me. It’s overall just a very good vape.

Performance

FEELM Max Disposables - 3

FEELM sent me these disposables in 0% nicotine and I was honestly a bit disappointed at first. However, after vaping on them a bit, the draw and flavor were alluring enough to keep me vaping on them, even without the nicotine.

Now, FEELM doesn’t only offer these in 0% nicotine. You can actually get them in a nicotine strength of your choice. But it was nice to use these for this review as it took me away from nicotine for a bit, and they were still enjoyable to use.

What’s most surprising about these disposables is that the draw without nicotine is still very punchy and fulfilling. Sure, I might have been taking bigger draws to compensate, but the ‘hit’ is super. I can only imagine that it would be excellent with nicotine, but I can’t say for certain.

The FEELM Max ceramic coil certainly does a good job of bringing out the flavor from the ejuice inside. While the flavor isn’t as game-changing as their advertising led me to possibly hope for, it’s very good and the consistency is really noticeable.

Every draw tastes the exact same, with the same amount of good flavor and vapor. Even after vaping more than half the tank of ejuice on some of these, there’s been no change in the flavor or vapor output.

Now, the amount of ejuice in these wasn’t specified, but I’m guessing it’s around ~15ml. For me to have vaped around half of that out of some of these and still have the vape going strong is incredibly impressive. I must have done at least 2500 puffs on some of my units, and to have them functioning and hitting like they’re still brand new is crazy. Impressive tech for sure.

The draw from the FEELM Max disposables is a tight MTL draw that is excellent just the way that it is. There’s no adjustable airflow, but I wouldn’t change the draw even if I had the option to.

Verdict

FEELM Max Disposables with TOPOWER tech are really technologically innovative and impressive disposables. The fact that these can go for 6000 puffs without charging is nuts, especially when you consider that the flavor is good and the draw remains consistent for the entire lifespan.

It was odd to review these devices, especially since they’re so far removed from what you may actually receive at a store.
