Puffmi C800 Disposables Review

Puffmi is a disposable vaping brand with quite a few products in their lineup. Their latest release is the Puffmi C800. This is a small, slim, and lightweight disposable vape that offers up to 800 puffs from its 2ml of pre-filled ejuice. They are non-rechargeable but have a 500mAh battery that will last for the entirety of the advertised puff count.

One of the main selling points of the C800 is that it uses a FEELM MAX ceramic coil. If you didn’t know, FEELM is owned by SMOORE, which is also the parent company of VAPORESSO. This means that their coil technology is extremely well-researched and developed, so you can expect good performance out of the C800.

I’ve reviewed a few of Puffmi’s disposable vapes in the past, like their TX600 Pro and MeshBox 5500. Puffmi hasn’t disappointed me yet, but we’ll see how the C800 fares in this review.

Design & Build Quality

Puffmi’s C800 disposables are quite attractive little guys. They have the form factor of a bar-type disposable, so they are tall, but otherwise small and narrow. 

Each one is 104mm tall, 21mm wide, and 13mm thick. They also weigh very little. If portability is your main concern when choosing a disposable then these ones will fit the bill.

Since they’re so slim and light, carrying them around in a pocket or bag is not even noticeable. I’ve been taking four of these C800’s with me wherever I go and it’s easy to forget that I even have them on me.

The design is nice but maybe a bit blingy. Each one has a transparent plastic shell that encases a holographic inner panel. There’s also a large metal band that runs around the top of the C800, starting just below where the ejuice reservoir ends.

Depending on which flavor you get, you’ll find that the transparent shell is tinted a different color, at least on the mouthpiece portion. For example, the Passion Fruit Mango and Pineapple Ice flavors have a shell that is tinted yellow, whereas Zesty Cola has a shell that is tinted dark red.

The transparent shell is nice, especially because it allows you to see the holographic panel underneath it. This panel has a large Puffmi’s script logo on it on one side, and the device model (C800), flavor, nicotine strength, FEELM MAX logo, and regulatory symbols on the other.

The transparent shell is also practical because you can see right into the ejuice reservoir, which is located just above the metal band. This lets you keep track of exactly how much ejuice is left inside so you’ll know when you’re getting low.

Now, the downside to this shell is that it scratches very easily and quickly starts to look worn. Of course, since this is a disposable that you throw away after 800 puffs, you likely won’t have to deal with the scratched up appearance for too long. Still, the fact that these start to look beat up after just a few days of use isn’t great.

The metal band on my units is also showing some wear, particularly in the middle-bottom of the band. This is the same case on all four of my C800’s that I’ve been using and it looks like the paint is starting to wear off.

On the bottom of these disposables is a white LED light, an airflow hole, and a battery venting hole.

As a whole, I like the design of the C800 and I think that these are pretty good looking little disposables. Things that could be improved are the scratch-resistance of the shell, as well as the paint quality on the metal band. Aside from these two minor aesthetic issues, all of my C800’s feel solid and well-made and they are nice devices overall.

Features

Puffmi’s C800 disposables aren’t competing to be the longest lasting disposables on the market and that’s evident when you look at the specs. Each one comes filled with 2ml of ejuice which will last for up to 800 puffs. If you’re looking for a disposable that’s going to last you for weeks of vaping then these aren’t the ones.

But while they may not last as long as the competition, the C800 does have a trick up its sleeve. Instead of just a ‘regular’ mesh coil, each one has a FEELM Max Ceramic coil inside. FEELM is owned by SMOORE, the parent company of VAPORESSO. This means that there’s a lot of research and development behind this ceramic coil and, in my experience, the performance has been excellent.

To get a little more specific, this FEELM Max Ceramic coil delivers better flavor, and the flavor remains consistent and strong for longer than you would get with a typical coil. It also allows for more puffs and more clouds due to the nano pores in the ceramic coil. I’ll get into more detail with my experience in the flavor section of this review.

These disposables are not rechargeable but they have a 500mAh battery which lasts for the entirety of the advertised 800 puff count.

Currently the C800 is only available in one nicotine strength which is 20mg/ml. This is because these disposables are made for the UK and Canada markets so they have to be compliant with TPD regulations. I have no idea if Puffmi will be releasing higher nicotine strengths for other markets.

Flavors

Taking a look at the 20+ flavors that the C800 is available in, I’m liking what I’m seeing. There are, of course, fruit and fruit/ice combos, but I’m seeing some really interesting flavors that sound incredibly tasty. Some of the tastier sounding flavors include Triple Mango, Sour Apple Blueberry, Cherry Watermelon, Fizzy Cherry, and Lemonade Lime.

I’m going to describe how four of these flavors taste to me and what I think of them. However, keep in mind that just because I like a flavor that does not mean that you will like it. Similarly, if I don’t like a flavor this does not mean that you will not like it. This is solely my subjective opinion.

Zesty Cola

This is a true cola flavor with a healthy dose of cooling. If I take too big of a draw I get brain freeze so despite not having ice in the name, it’s cold! This is not as sweet as other cola flavors that I’ve tried so it’s one that I can keep vaping on throughout the day without getting sick of it. I do wish that the ice was a little toned down though.

Pineapple Ice

I get a nice and sweet pineapple flavor here that is complemented by a slight bit of cooling. The cooling is nowhere near as strong as it is in the Zesty Cola flavor so it’s much more tolerable if you’re not an ice vaper.

Cool Mint

Cool Mint is the name and yes, it is very cool. It’s a spearmint flavor with some nice sweetness that makes it very tasty. Like Zesty Cola, the cooling is strong enough to give you a brain freeze if you take too big of a draw (which has happened to me many times). If you like sweet mint flavors with strong cooling then this will be right up your alley.

Passion Fruit Mango

Passion Fruit and Mango flavors have both grown on me recently, so having them both in one was just what I thought that I was looking for. Unfortunately, while this is a good flavor, I find it to be pretty subdued and mild. Bringing the flavor up a couple of notches in intensity would have made this flavor so much better, but as it is I don’t find myself going back to it for more.

How do they vape?

As I’ve mentioned in this review, one of the main features of the C800 is that it uses a FEELM Max ceramic coil. To find out if it really made a positive difference, I’ve been using four of the C800’s for over two weeks now and I feel that I’m finally ready to give my verdict.

Does the FEELM Max ceramic coil make a difference? Yes, but maybe not in the way that you would think. While the flavor from these disposables is good, it’s not game-changingly different from other good disposables that I’ve tried. Where I really noticed the difference that this coil makes is in the consistency.

With the C800, the flavor stayed consistent throughout the entire time that I was using them, even as the ejuice was near depleted. This was easy to test and keep track of with the C800, due to it having only 2ml of ejuice and 800 puffs.

I also noticed the increased longevity of these disposables when compared to other 2ml devices. Whereas you would expect a max of 500 puffs from other 2ml disposables, these lasted for well over that number of puffs and some even surpassed the 800 puff count mark (if only by a few dozen puffs).

Although only available in 20mg/ml, the nicotine satisfaction from these is good. There were days when I only used the C800’s exclusively and I wasn’t left wanting to hit another vape, even though I’m used to vaping 30mg+ disposables and nicotine salt ejuices as my usual.

Last but not least, the draw is super smooth and it definitely has a lot to do with the ceramic core and the nano pores that comprise it. They still deliver a nice hit, but the vapor feels clean and it is not harsh on the throat or chest.

Verdict

The Puffmi C800 disposable may be small, but each one packs a lot of goodness inside. Compared to other 2ml capacity disposables, these ones deliver way more puffs (800+) and remain as small and as portable as the rest. If portability is your main concern with disposables then the C800 has one of the best puff-to-size ratios out there. 

The FEELM Max ceramic coil definitely does a lot of good things for this disposable. The flavor is consistent and lasts for the whole 800 puffs, the vapor is smooth and tastes clean, and the nicotine satisfaction is there. I got a really great vaping experience out of these, despite them being only 20mg/ml nicotine strength, and I enjoyed most of the flavors that I tried too.

The downsides to the C800 are that it only offers 800 puffs, and that it is only available in 20mg/ml strength. They definitely don’t last as long as other higher-capacity disposables on the market, but they are certainly some of the longest lasting, small-size disposables out there.
