Our Verdict

There are many good disposable vapes out there right now but So Soul’s X7000 disposables are definitely a worthy addition to your shopping list. The retro look really sets them apart from other disposables but, of course, that’s not the only reason why you should consider them. The flavors that I tried are all very enjoyable to vape on and that’s only 3 out of the 20 that they offer so there’s plenty more to choose from if the flavors that I tried aren’t quite to your liking.

The tight MTL draw is certainly not what I expected but it was a pleasant surprise. The draw is similar to a cigarette and that’s going to be a big plus for anyone looking to use these to quit smoking. Add to the fact that these provide a very satisfying draw and up to 7000 puffs and you get a great value for your money.

If you’re in the market for a new disposable vape, I can easily recommend checking out So Soul’s X7000 disposables.

The So Soul X7000 is just one of a dozen types of disposable vapes manufactured by So Soul. The X7000 is one of their highest puff-count disposables, offering up to 7000+ puffs. Similar to the X7000 is their X6000 disposable which is slightly smaller and, as the name suggests, offers up to 6000+ puffs.

Each X7000 comes prefilled with 15ml of ejuice and they are available in either 2% (20mg) or 5% (50mg) nicotine strengths. The So Soul X7000’s have a 650mAh battery that is rechargeable through Type-C charging.

For flavors, these come in 20 different flavors including fruit, mint, beverage, and dessert options.

These disposables were sent to me directly from So Soul for the purpose of this review.

Design & Build Quality

  • So Soul X7000 - 8

The So Soul X7000 disposables have a unique design that is unlike any other disposable vape that I’ve seen. These have a boxy shape with indents/ribbing on the sides for a more comfortable grip. The chunky form factor, knurling, and ribbed sides all reminds me of a retro sneaker, which is pretty cool.

These are a little thicker than most other disposable vapes. Each one is 112mm tall, 30mm wide, and 30mm thick. It feels more like you’re holding a large pod mod or single battery box mod than a disposable, but it’s not a bad thing. The shape is comfortable to hold and, since it’s made of ABS plastic, it’s also quite light.

All of the X700’s have a primarily black body, but the top section of each device is a different color. This differently colored ‘accent piece’ makes it easy to tell the flavors apart because no two flavors share the same color. It also has the flavor written on the front to eliminate any ambiguity about which flavor you’re using.

The sides of the X700 have large ribs that accommodate my large fingers nicely when I fully grip the device. On the front and back of the device are large rectangles with knurling and these add a nice look to these disposables, as well as some additional grip. On the front knurled rectangle there is a “SO SOUL” logo and that’s the full extent of the branding on these.

Another nice design detail are the finishes. The majority of the device has a matte finish, but there are gloss accent lines and the drip tip also features a glossy finish. As far as the drip tip goes, it’s a pretty standard duckbill mouthpiece but with a base that is more flared out than others that I’ve used. It’s comfortable to use and features a rather wide opening, but I’ll get to the draw a little later.

On the bottom of the X700’s there are two airflow holes, a blue LED, and a Type-C charge port. The has a 650mAh battery and comes prefilled with 15ml of ejuice. According to So Soul, this should get you up to 7000 puffs per device.

I really like the ‘retro sneaker look’ that these have going on. They’re a bit larger than you might be used to for a disposable but they’re light and the build quality is definitely there.

Flavors

So Soul X7000 - 7

These are available in 20 different flavors and that’s a lot for a disposable. This gives you quite a lot of options for what you want to vape on, especially since their flavors are pretty varied in category. They have fruit, beverage, mint, and even dessert flavors. Some of the more unique ones are Cinnamon Banana Smoothie, Redbull Berry Ice, and Cheesecake Strawberry.

For this review I received three of their flavors: Watermelon Ice, Pineapple Banana Coconut, and Lemon Strawberry Pie.

I’m going to describe how each flavor tastes to me and what I think of them. Keep in mind that just because I like a flavor does not mean that you will like it, and vice-versa. This is solely my subjective opinion.

Watermelon Ice

A sweet, but not too strong, watermelon flavor with just a hint of cooling. It’s a really nice flavor that is just as good as other watermelon ice or lush ice flavors. The watermelon flavor is natural and with just the right amount of sweetness. It’s a very tasty vape and I place it in second out of the three flavors that I have for this review.

Pineapple Banana Coconut

This is my favorite flavor out of the ones that I was sent. It’s a nice mix of these three fruit flavors and they all come together at once for a sort of mash-up of fruits in your mouth. The best way that I can describe it is that I taste banana and coconut the most strongly on the inhale, along with a light coconut flavor that becomes stronger on the exhale. This is the general flavor profile, but I can definitely taste hints of all three fruit flavors all throughout the inhale and exhale.

Lemon Strawberry Pie

All you dessert vape lovers should definitely check this flavor out. It’s a nice dessert flavor that implements strawberry and lemon nicely, alongside a heavy pie taste. It’s almost like strawberries and cream, but with an added lemon and pie flavor that comes through on the inhale and exhale. Overall it’s another good flavor but I liked their Watermelon Ice and Pineapple Banana Coconut flavors so much that it comes in as a solid third for me.

How do they vape?

So Soul X7000 - 6

For this review I received all three of these X700 disposables in 5% (50mg) nicotine strength. These are filled with nicotine salts and function at a low wattage, so the draw is just as smooth as the draw that you would get from a pod vape filled with nic salts. I get a nice throat hit from these too but it’s a pleasant one that isn’t too aggressive or strong.

The draw is very satisfying and I think that even heavy vapers looking for their nicotine fix will be happy. I can take just a few draws from one of these and I’m good for a while. The flavors kept me coming back for more, but that’s a testament to how tasty these are and not a knock to the draw satisfaction at all.

As I mentioned in the design section, these are large disposables. As such, you would think that they would deliver a loose DL draw, right? Surprisingly, these have a tight MTL draw that is very similar to the draw that you would get from a cigarette. It doesn’t take too much effort to draw either, which is definitely a pro. The draw activation works well and none of my devices misbehaved in this aspect.

As a matter of fact, these did not misbehave in any aspect. They didn’t leak, didn’t fire on their own, and the draw activation worked every time that I went from a draw.
