I Love Salts Ejuice Review: An Excellent Line of Nic Salts

I Love Salts is a line of nicotine salt ejuices, manufactured by Mad Hatter Juice. I Love Salts ejuice has become quite popular recently due to the varied and unique flavor combinations and I have to admit, they do look really good. 

There are 15 different flavors and they each come in 30ml bottles. They have the flavors you would expect like Blue Raspberry, Strawberry Ice, Classic Tobacco, and Classic Menthol, but the majority of their flavors are unique and complex mixes. Pacific Passion is a mix of coconut, strawberry, and pineapple, while Island Squeeze is a mix of kiwi, guava, and strawberry. These are just two of their many interesting flavor combinations.

As the name suggests, I Love Salts are nicotine salt eliquids. They come in either 25mg or 50mg strengths and all of their ejuices are a 50/50 VG/PG mix. A standout quality of these ejuices is the quality of the labels and bottles. Each bottle has a colorful label complete with the flavor profile, bottle size, nicotine strength, VG/PG ratio, and of course a legal age warning. The packaging looks premium and that’s a good sign for how well they’ll vape; if they’ve put this much effort into the packaging, they must have put the same into the flavor mixes, right?

Well, I’ve been vaping on all 15 of the I Love Salts ejuices for a few weeks now and I’m ready to give you my thoughts on how good they taste and how they perform. I’ll go over each flavor profile and do my best to describe how it tastes so you can decide if the I Love Salts line of ejuices is for you.

These ejuices were sent to me from Vapor4Life for the purpose of this review.

About Mad Hatter Juice

Mad Hatter Juice is a premium ejuice manufacturer, based in Los Angeles. They pride themselves on crafting delicious, quality ejuices with proprietary blends and uniquely themed flavors. 

While they’ve recently become more well known thanks to their I Love Salts line of ejuices, this isn’t the first line of ejuices they’ve created. In fact, they’re responsible for many other “I Love ___” ejuices, such as their I Love Donuts series.

Other than the above information, it’s hard to find any further information on Mad Hatter Juice. Even their website lacks an “About Us” page to glean any more info.

The Flavors

For this review I was sent all 15 of the I Love Salts ejuices. It’s taken me a while to vape all of them, but I’ve been enjoying them the whole time! I used a bunch of different pod systems to try these out. Here are the flavors:

Blue Raspberry

This is a sweet and sour blue raspberry candy flavor and it gets the sweet and sour aspects perfect. However, I don’t think it’s very candy-like. It’s definitely a heavy blue raspberry flavor and very tart and sweet. As a whole, this is a good blue raspberry flavor, just not as candy-like as I expected.

Blue Raspberry Ice

This is the same flavor as above, just with added menthol. Again, not a candy flavor like you might expect from the description, but a sweet and tart, heavy blue raspberry taste with a nice blast of cool menthol.

Juicy Apples

This is a pure apple flavor. It’s extremely delicious and tastes like pure, fresh, natural apples. It’s crisp and sweet, with red apples mixed with green apples. I highly recommend this flavor if you’re a fruit lover.

Island Squeeze

Island Squeeze is a blend of kiwi, strawberry, and guava. Guava is the main flavor, while strawberry and kiwi are background flavors. This ejuice is really light in the sense that the flavor isn’t very strong, nor is it very sweet. If it was stronger it would be much better. As it is now, it’s too subtle for my taste.

Strawberry Candy

Exactly as described, this tastes like strawberry candy. It’s a very sweet flavor but I can still vape it all day, it’s just so good. Strong strawberry candy notes with every puff make this ejuice extremely enjoyable to vape on. The strawberry is strong, as is the candy flavor. Really well done mix.

Strawberry Ice

Strawberry Ice is strawberry mixed with menthol. The menthol in this ejuice is overpoweringly strong and very icy, while the strawberry is lighter and more of a secondary flavor. It’s good, but don’t expect a lot of strawberry taste.

Pacific Passion

Pacific Passion is a blend of coconut milk, pineapple juice, and strawberries. It has a very strong coconut flavor, with light strawberry and pineapple notes. It’s very smooth, very nice, and very refreshing. The mix is really good; it’s the perfect balance of the three flavors. I don’t think that any other ratio of these fruits would taste as good.

Tropic Mango

This is a blend of mango, pineapple, and coconut milk, but mango is the main star of the show. You can definitely taste the pineapple, but the coconut milk is very subtle. The mango flavor is very natural and fruity, not too sweet, and super smooth. This really tastes tropical and makes me want to just go kick back on a beach somewhere. Delicious.

Grappleberry

This is an awesome flavor mix: grape, apple, and blueberry. Grape and apple are the strongest flavors in this ejuice. Blueberry is present but much lighter and just with subtle undertones. This is the definition of a fruity flavor. It’s sweet, tasty, and amongst the best fruit flavors I’ve ever vaped. Grappleberry is a favorite of mine.

Luau Lemonade

Luau Lemonade is a mix of watermelon, pineapple, and lemonade. There are strong lemonade notes, mixed with watermelon and pineapple. This is an overall tasty flavor that lemonade ejuice lovers will really like. This is another favorite flavor of mine because it’s tasty but not too sweet, and at the same time it’s very refreshing to vape on.

Classic Tobacco

Classic Tobacco is a rich and nutty tobacco flavored ejuice. There’s some sweetness to this tobacco, which is not what I expected. But the rich and nutty notes are definitely enjoyable. As far as tobacco flavors go, this one is really good, but not the best I’ve had. It’s a little rough and not as smooth as I would prefer, but still worth grabbing if you want a tobacco nic salt ejuice.

Fruit Cereal

I was wary of trying this because I didn’t think that I would like it, but I was wrong. This tastes like a bowl of fruit loops and milk. Even reading that doesn’t sound super appealing, but it tastes great. Flavor description is extremely accurate. This is nice to vape on for the day, but I can’t vape it for multiple days in a row. I just found it to be too rich for me, but you might think differently.

Classic Menthol

This has a similar taste to menthol cigarettes. It’s cool and refreshing, but slightly sweet as well. I can see this flavor being effective for someone who smokes menthols and wants to quit smoking. This gives a very similar taste and feel that will make the transition a lot easier. If you’re just a regular vaper who likes menthol, I can also see this being attractive. Good menthol flavor.

Spearmint Gum

This is another flavor that they recreated just right. This spearmint gum ejuice tastes just like gum. It’s smooth, refreshing, sweet, and minty. If you like spearmint gum, this will suit you perfectly. It’s not too minty, but just right with a sweet spearmint gum flavor.

Sweet Tobacco

This is an interesting mix. It’s tobacco, vanilla, and custard. This is a sweet, but not too sweet, tobacco flavor. It’s a rich ejuice with nice, noticeable notes of vanilla and custard. This isn’t a heavy tobacco flavor, it’s more subtle, so if you really like the tobacco notes you’re not going to get that satisfaction here. Overall, very creamy and tasty. Even someone who doesn’t like tobacco will likely enjoy vaping on this flavor. 

Verdict

Mad Hatter’s I Love Salts line of nic salts is a winner. Pacific Passion is the only flavor that I feel could be changed, and it’s not bad at all. I just think that it could have a stronger flavor. Otherwise, the other 14 ejuices are all really good. I can see all of these used as an all day vape. They’re not too sweet and the mixes are perfect.

They’re also very satisfying to vape on. The 50mg strength has a nice throat hit to it, as does the 25mg. The 50/50 VG/PG blend vapes really well in all of the pod systems I’ve tried it in and these ejuices aren’t too harsh on the coils either.

I think I Love Salts may have just earned its place as one of the best nicotine salt ejuices in 2020.
