KYNN Delta 8 Disposable Vape Pen Review

Kynn is a newer brand with only one product currently being sold on their website. Their focus thus far has been on Delta 8 products with their Delta 8 disposable being the first. These disposables are made with 100% compliant distillates and contain less than 0.3% Delta 9 THC. 

Kynn states on their website that their mission is to bring customers an instant experience of ease and comfort delivered through their cannabinoid innovations. We all suffer from everyday stress and frustrations and sometimes we just need to relax. Kynn is hoping that their Delta 8 disposables can be that escape. In this review we are going to find out if Kynn’s products are the outlet we are looking for.

These delta 8 disposables were sent to me directly by Kynn for the purpose of this review.

Kynn Delta 8 Disposable Vape Pens

Kynn Delta 8 disposables come in 6 different flavor options: Biscotti, Strawberry Cough, King Louis XIII, Gelato, Blue Dream and Watermelon Z. They also come in a mix of different strains: indica, sativa, as well as hybrid options. You can choose between two design options, one being Seashell White, the other being Pebble Grey. For this review, I received the Pebble Grey version. They are one color throughout the entire device, which I think gives the device a subtle but classy look. 

The body of each disposable is made of a soft touch plastic, which feels really nice to hold. The body lines that run down the device on the front, back, and sides, help give it some added grip as well.

The mouthpiece is made of food-grade PCTG and has a glossy finish. The mouthpiece feels nice to use and I like the size and shape of it. These are purely draw activated devices and they do not have any buttons. There is also a white LED that lights up each time that you take a draw. This LED is frosted so it’s not too bright and it’s fairly discrete. When the battery is running low, the LED will blink 10 times.

Just below the mouthpiece is a window that allows you to see how much distillate you have left. This is useful as you can see when you are getting low and this helps to eliminate dry hits. It also lets you know when it might be time to reorder. 

Each Kynn Delta 8 disposable has a built in 350mAh battery and uses micro-USB charging. The charging port is located on the bottom of the device. The device does not come with a charger, however you can use any standard micro-USB charger. 

Their website states that each disposable should get you up to 400 puffs and that the battery should be able to last 10 charging cycles. The battery takes about an hour to charge from dead.  

Each one comes prefilled with 1ml of terpene infused Delta 8 distillate. They also contain less than 0.3% Delta 9. On their website you can find links to lab tests done on every single one of their strains. These lab tests are readily available for anyone to view and are posted right at the top of their home page. This type of transparency is key for me when reviewing a product so it’s great to see Kynn providing their customers with this information.

Kynn’s D8 disposables are easy to use devices and they deliver the perfect amount of vapor. I had no issues during the weeks that I have been using these. In the past, I’ve found that some delta 8 disposables can get clogged up once they have been sitting for a little and so they become next to impossible to draw on. That is not the case with these devices. Even after leaving one sitting for a few days, it doesn’t clog and is still easy to vape on.

The only real con that I found when it came to the device itself was that they do not have the flavors printed on the actual device. This makes it tricky to tell them apart and know which strain you are vaping on. My suggestion is that if you have multiples on the go then you may want to find a way to label them. My solution was to turn to my trusty label maker. I just printed out some labels and stuck them onto the devices themselves. 

Now, if you don’t have a label maker, the flavors are quite different from one another so you may be able to tell them apart just from the way that they taste. Still, I would have liked to see the flavor and strain printed on each disposable.

Biscotti

Strain: Indica Hybrid
Flavors: Vanilla, Diesel, Honey
Effects: Tingly, Relaxed, Happy

The honey flavor takes the main stage with this one, with the vanilla flavor making its grand entrance towards the end of the draw. A delicious combo in my opinion. I didn’t really feel tingly using this one but I did find it relaxing. 

Strawberry Cough

Strain: Sativa
Flavors: Strawberry, Berry, Sweet
Effects: Energetic, Uplifted, Talkative

I would be lying if I didn’t admit that I immediately thought this one was going to taste like cough syrup. Boy, was I wrong. This is one of the tastiest options, with a sweet and fresh strawberry flavor. I would suggest using this one when you need to get things done. I found that it helped me feel energized and facilitated getting my work done.

King Louis XIII

Strain: Indica
Flavors: Pine, Woody, Herbal/Spicy
Effects: Relaxed, Sleepy, Hungry

This was not one of my favorite flavors but the effects of this one are strong. The pine flavor takes over here. It’s not that it’s a bad flavor, but I just prefer sweeter flavors myself. This one should come with a warning, because it gave me the munchies and then I felt so sleepy that I went straight to bed. If you are having trouble sleeping, this is the flavor/strain for you. 

Gelato

Strain: Hybrid
Flavors: Sweet, Vanilla, Mint
Effects: Euphoric, Aroused, Happy

Another enjoyable flavor combo of vanilla and mint. I wasn’t too sure if I would like this one, but I did; it’s a very subtle flavor. The effects are not that subtle though and Gelato made me feel very euphoric and joyous. It definitely enhanced my mood and I felt like I was able to just enjoy the moment. Two thumbs up from me.

Blue Dream

Strain: Sativa Hybrid
Flavors: Blueberry, Sweet, Berry
Effects: Creative, Energetic, Uplifted

This flavor has a little more of an earthy taste than stated in the flavor description. I find the earthy tones overpower the blueberry flavor but it’s a nice flavor mix. Definitely more of a plant flavor than a blueberry flavor. If you are looking for a D8 disposable that will get you lifted while also making you feel energetic and creative, Blue Dream gets the job done. 

Watermelon Z

Strain: Indica
Flavors: Sweet, Tropical, Tobacco
Effects: Giggly, Relaxed, Sleepy

This is one of my favorite flavors. The fresh watermelon taste mixed with the earthy flavor of tobacco is surprisingly good. I would have never thought I would like this mix but it’s something new and it’s quite tasty. I would suggest using this one if you are looking to unwind after a long day because I found that it really helped me to relax. 

Verdict

Kynn Delta 8 disposables deliver a smooth vapor that tastes delicious. I found that the effects that they state on their website for each strain are accurate and really work. They produce clean tasting vapor and whether you want a more “true-to-plant” flavor, or you’re after something that tastes a little sweeter, there’s a flavor that you’ll like. 

These are light, portable, and easy to take on the go. Kynn offers 6 different flavor options, all of which are quite good in my opinion, and they have a good mix of sativa, indica and hybrid options. Each disposable is prefilled with 1ml of pure Delta 8 so you can expect to get around 400 puffs off each one.

The design of the device is also very nice but it’s missing a key component; there is no flavor printed on the device so it can be difficult to tell them apart without using them. The flavors are good enough that you should be able to tell which one you’re vaping on, but they should have the flavor printed. No one wants help falling asleep at noon, or getting energized at midnight!

All in all, I strongly recommend trying the Kynn Delta 8 disposable if you’re looking for a new D8 vape. Now, I’m going to get back to vaping on my Watermelon Z!
