Our Verdict

VaporLax Mesh 3000 disposables bring everything that made the original so good, and now deliver more puffs and better flavor thanks to the mesh coil inside. I managed to get over 2400 puffs from one of these disposables, and with the way that it’s going, I have full confidence that these can hit the 3000 puff count and beyond. That makes it a great value for the money at $14.99 each.

These disposable are going to be a good choice for anyone looking for a MTL to a very tight MTL draw, and I liked how the airflow control dial lets you tweak the airflow to get it just how you want it. The warmth of the draw is perfect, and the performance was flawless and consistent for all of the flavors that I used.

There are 14 flavors to choose from and all of the ones that I tried were great. It’s mostly fruit and fruit/menthol options though, so if you’re a dessert or tobacco vaper then you aren’t going to find any good options here.

The VaporLax Mesh 3000’s deliver a ton of puffs and good longevity, but they’re still small and portable. You can carry a few on you at the same time so that you can switch up flavors throughout the day and these aren’t going to add much bulk to your bag or pocket.

After testing these out for a few weeks and seeing their great performance, I can confidently recommend the VaporLax Mesh 3000 disposables.

VaporLax is a vaping company that mainly focuses on producing disposable vapes. VaporLax is owned by Mi-Pod, a company that is well-known for their beginner-friendly pod vapes like the Mi-Pod 2.0 (which scored very well in our review).

We’ve previously reviewed a few of the disposable vapes that VaporLax offers, including the BOBO, Draco, Sirius, and original VaporLax disposables. They all received good scores in our reviews, so it’s clear that VaporLax knows how to make a disposable.

The VaporLax Mesh 3000 is an upgrade to the original VaporLax disposables in more ways than one. For one, they offer 3000 puffs; double the amount of puffs that you would get from the original. They also use an upgraded mesh coil for better vapor and flavor. Last but not least, some of the flavors have been remastered.

The VaporLax Mesh 3000 keeps the same adjustable airflow control dial as the original, which allows you to adjust the airflow from a mouth to lung draw down to a tight mouth to lung draw.

Like VaporLax’s other disposables, these Mesh 3000’s have an industry-leading low defective rate because each individual disposable is tested at the factory before being boxed and shipped. This should mean no more pulling a disposable out of the package only to find that it doesn’t work.

These disposables were sent to us directly by VaporLax for the purpose of this review. This in no way affects my thoughts or opinions. I am not receiving compensation of any sort from VaporLax or Mi-Pod for writing this review.

Design & Build Quality

VaporLax Mesh 3000 Disposables - 4

When it comes to the overall design, there isn’t much that has changed from the original VaporLax disposables. These Mesh 3000’s are still tall, tube shaped devices and they are of the same medium-large diameter as the original. These are slightly taller than the original VaporLax disposables, but only by a few millimeters.

Since these come with 6.5ml of ejuice, they are nowhere near as thick as some of VaporLax’s other large capacity disposables like the Sirius or Draco. They are a nice size that is still easily portable and pocketable. You can bring a few of these with you when you leave the house and they won’t weigh you down or take up too much pocket space.

Each one comes filled with nicotine salt ejuice in 50mg strength. This appears to be the only strength that they currently offer. Interestingly enough, these have the same 1000mAh battery as the original (and also come with the same amount of ejuice), however these can provide up to 3000 puffs. I can’t find the resistance of the coil or the wattage that these function at listed anywhere on the VaporLax or Mi-Pod website, but I would guess that these function at a lower wattage output in order to provide more puffs.

The design is simple and there isn’t much going on. Each one features a glossy shell that matches up with the flavor. For example, Pineapple Ice is yellow, Blueberry Ice is dark blue, Crush Grape is purple, etc… The flavor is also printed on each disposable so it’s easy to tell them apart and vape on the flavor that you want.

Each one has a VaporLax logo with the words “VaporLax MESH” printed beneath it. Apart from the flavor being printed, there’s no other branding or logos on the device. It’s a clean look but it also looks pretty simple.

The mouthpiece is made of black plastic and slopes from the bottom to the top on both sides, and gets narrower towards the tip. It’s comfortable to use and fits my lips perfectly.

Overall, there are 14 flavors to choose from for the VaporLax Mesh 3000. The VaporLax Mesh also comes in a 1500 puff version which has more flavor available, but you’ll sacrifice some of the puff count if you want to get a flavor that isn’t offered in the 3000 version. The flavors are mostly fruit and fruit/menthol combinations, but there is also a drink flavor called “Energy” and a sort-of dessert flavor called “Strawberry Cream”. For the most part, it’s fruits and fruit/menthol.

Like the original, VaporLax Mesh 3000’s have an adjustable airflow dial on the bottom of each device. You can turn this dial clockwise or counterclockwise to adjust the airflow. Looking down from the top of the disposable, turning the dial clockwise will close down the airflow and turning it counterclockwise will open it up. There isn’t a large range of adjustment, but it’s enough to allow you to go from a MTL draw down to a very tight MTL draw.

Flavors

VaporLax Mesh 3000 Disposables - 3

VaporLax Mesh 3000 disposables come in 14 flavors. As mentioned earlier, these are mostly fruit and fruit/menthol combos, but there are also a few unique flavors too. There is no tobacco flavor unfortunately. I found that most of the fruit/menthol combos had enough menthol to feel, but they weren’t too icy. This is something that I like about these flavors, however if you’re looking for that cold blast of menthol then you won’t get it from any of the fruit/menthol combos. Their “Cool Mint” is quite icy though and should be one that you try.

I’m going to go over a few of these flavors and describe how each one tastes to me and what I think of it. Keep in mind that just because I like a flavor does not mean that you will like it, and vice-versa. This is solely my subjective opinion.

Pineapple Ice

There is a nice pineapple flavor here that isn’t too sour. It’s nice and sweet and definitely the main flavor in this disposable. The ice component isn’t that strong and it adds another subtle dimension to the flavor. This is one of my favorite Mesh 3000 flavors. Mostly on the natural side with good sweetness and not too much candying.

Tropical Punch

I have vaped this flavor like no tomorrow and it’s still putting out puffs. It’s gotten a little weaker than when I first started using it, but it’s still super tasty. It’s a mix of guava, watermelon, and lemon that reminds me of a tangy fruit punch drink. I mentioned in the introduction that VaporLax refined some of their flavors and I think that this flavor was slightly altered to be even better. Doing a side-by-side comparison with the original VaporLax Tropical Punch, this one tastes a bit stronger which makes it even better. Overall, a very good fruit combination.

Icy Fruits

This is primarily a lychee flavor with notes of citrus. There’s a light lemon flavor that is rounded off by a slight cooling menthol. The lychee flavor is authentic and the lemon is a nice and subtle addition that makes this flavor even tastier. Like their other “ice” flavors, the cooling isn’t too strong and just adds another layer to the flavor. You’ll likely like this even if you don’t like ice flavors.

Crush Grape

The description for this flavor is “A refreshingly fruity blend of true grape flavor mixed with tropical guava and lemon flavor”, but grape is the only flavor that I can really taste. While it’s not true to the description, it’s an awesome grape flavor and it’s one of my favorite VaporLax Mesh 3000 disposables to vape on. The grape flavor is strong, powerful, and slightly candied, but still natural enough to not taste like grape candy.

Rainbow Mix

There’s no one flavor that I can single out here, but this is a candied flavor with a mix of different candy tastes. There’s some sweet to it, some sour to it, and it’s an all-around tasty flavor. It’s much sweeter than their other flavors so I couldn’t vape on this one all day, but it’s good for a few puffs here and there. If you like sweet flavors though then you’ll like this one.

How do they vape?

VaporLax Mesh 3000 Disposables - 1

Comparing these to the original VaporLax disposables, I found the Mesh 3000 to be very similar. The draw is the same mouth-to-lung draw that can be changed to a very tight MTL draw by adjusting the airflow. I also found that the warmth of vapor is the same too. It’s a pleasantly warm draw with a nice throat hit to go with it.

One area where I have noticed a change is the flavor. These Mesh 3000 disposables provide flavor that is more ‘full’ and rich. Comparing the same flavors from the Mesh 3000 with the original VaporLax disposables, the flavor is better and in fruit mixes you can taste the individual fruits more easily. These are definitely an upgrade and if I had to choose between the two, I would choose the Mesh 3000’s every time.

As far as vapes go, these are incredibly easy to use and are what a disposable should be. You take it out of the packaging, remove the silicone plugs and stickers, and start vaping. Vape on one until you’re satisfied, then put it down until you want it again.

As I mentioned in the introduction paragraph, these Mesh 3000’s have an industry-leading low defective rate because each individual disposable is tested at the factory before being boxed and shipped. All of my disposables worked out of the box and none of them have malfunctioned. As I write this review, all of them are still functioning properly and I have not had any issues whatsoever. They haven’t leaked, fired by themselves, or stopped working.

On my Tropical Punch disposable I have been counting the puffs and as I write this I’m at 2431. While I haven’t quite reached the 3000 mark yet, it’s still working well and over 2400 puffs is nothing to scoff at! The draw has gotten a little weaker since I first started using it, but it’s still strong and satisfying to vape on. I can easily see myself getting the advertised 3000 puffs, if not more, out of this disposable.

The draw activation is great on these. Even on the loosest setting it works well and will activate without too much effort. I hate when I have to struggle to get a vape out of a disposable and thankfully that isn’t the story here.
