The bottom line
If OXVA’s aim with the NeXLIM GO was to create a simple, functional, adaptable, cost-effective pod device that would suit both beginners and more experienced vapers who wanted a fuss-free daily, they have succeeded in spades. I have used a lot of OXVA pod vapes, and this could be my favorite yet. And when you consider that they have brought us instantly popular classics like the XLIM, XLIM Pro, and VPRIME, that’s saying something.
While it is sometimes nice to be able to tweak every setting of a vape individually, I found real joy in having just one mode switch, an airflow slider, and a simple LED. I thought I might miss having a screen for more accurate battery level readings, but the big 1800mAh battery means that I so infrequently had to worry about when charge time was coming up, the lack of display was rarely, if ever, a problem.
The 4ml pods are excellent and tick just about every box a pod vaper could want. They are reliable, long-lasting, leak-free, and produce superb flavors. The fact that adjusting the mode also adjusts the coil resistance means you don’t have to think too much about buying a range of pods to fit your changing vape mood. Opt for the 0.8Ω pod, and in Eco mode you’ll get a nice MTL draw. Flick the switch for Boost mode, and it instantly becomes suitable for RDL vaping.
I would be happy to make this my new everyday vape, and be equally happy recommending it to both beginners looking for their first device (or perhaps switching from disposables) and more experienced vapers who just want something simple and reliable. It probably won’t cut it for those who want an RDL vape that is closer to DL than it is MTL, but for anyone else, the OXVA NeXLIM GO should be more than satisfying.

Product Overview
The NeXLIM GO is the newest member of OXVA’s most recently added range of pod vapes, sitting alongside the impressive NeXLIM. And while at first glance it might not seem as impressive as its older sibling with its flashy circular LCD, that doesn’t mean the GO isn’t worth a closer look. A few surprises under the surface of this seemingly simple pod vape are sure to appeal to many vapers.
The first of those is the impressive 1800mAh battery, increased by 300mAh over the NeXLIM’s 1500mAh cell, and pretty unique among pod vapes of this price, size, and style. There’s also a simple, yet clever, mode selection system designed to make switching between vaping styles easy. You don’t have access to a huge selection of compatible coil resistances, just 0.6Ω, 0.8Ω, and 1.2Ω. But thanks to some clever internal trickery that allows each coil to switch to half its resistance, that might not be the problem some would assume.
So is the NeXLIM GO simply a pared-down version of the NeXLIM, but with a bigger battery? Or is there more to this beginner-friendly, cost-effective device than first meets the eye? I have had one clamped to my lips for a couple of weeks to answer those questions and, hopefully, any others you might have about the newest OXVA vape.

Design & Build Quality
The NeXLim GO is a fairly standard size and shape for a modern pod vape, standing at around 120mm tall and following the common tall and slim form factor. It is almost entirely oval in cross-section, with the strongly curved front and rear faces only broken by slim, slightly convex sections at the sides. These flatter edge strips are where you will find the only physical controls on the device: the mode switch and the airflow slider. You’ll also find the USB Type-C charging port here.
The base of the device is also curved, with a small flattened section that is covered with a silicone pad. This makes it comfortable to hold and carry in your trouser pockets, but it also means that the device is not very stable if standing upright on a desk or other flat surface. This is something of a bugbear for me because I spend a lot of my day at a desk, but it’s not a dealbreaker and probably won’t annoy most users quite as much as it does me.
There is a bit of OXVA branding on both the front and back faces, but nothing too glaring. The mix of flat color and patterned sections gives the device an interesting yet subtle style overall. This is not a vape that you’ll want to hide away in the palm of your hand.
The device is available in eight attractive colors, all of which have that mix of flat color and patterned sections. These patterns vary across the color range. The available colors range from the bright Silky Purple and Rose Pink to more subtle versions like Starry Blue, Silky Black, and Sahara Brown. The full color list includes:
- Starry Blue
- Space Gray
- Rose Pink
- Sahara Brown
- Silky Purple
- Silky Coffee
- Silky Black
- Black Warrior
Pods
The standard version of the NeXLim GO comes with a 4ml pod, which is a generous capacity for a vape of this type and size. If you are in a TPD country, you’ll have to make do with smaller 2ml pods. The kit only contains a single 0.8Ω pod, which, considering the relatively low cost of the vape, is fair enough. You can also choose kits with either 0.6Ω or 1.2Ω pods, or purchase these alternative resistance pods separately.
The pods are considered top-fill, although the fill port is actually located on the side (any pod that doesn’t fill from the base is usually referred to as top-fill), and feature fixed coils. This combination of features often results in a very leak-free pod, and that’s true here. The pods seem very reliable, and after nearly two weeks of using the pod that came with my device, I have not seen any leaking.
While you get a fixed coil pod with the kit, you can also purchase removable coil versions for the NeXLIM devices (both the base pods and the coils to fit in them). With fixed coil pods this good, I don’t really see why you would want removable coils, but the option is there if you need it for some reason.
The coils inside the pods feature dual mesh and UniTech 2.0 technology. The dual coil allows the device to be used in two different modes, switching from using both coil sections at once to alternating between the two.
This coil design is part of OXVA’s new UniTech 2.0 system, which is a redesign of their coils that includes multi-layer cotton for the wick, adjusted coil position within the cartridge, the dual coil, and a 5-point change to how the coil is seated and sealed within the pod. All of this adds up to a super reliable and long-lasting pod, with a coil that provides better flavor for longer, more efficient heating, and up to 45% more vapor with each puff.
Features
The NeXLIM GO is designed to be a simple-to-use, fuss-free pod vape. As such, it isn’t packed with a huge amount of features and settings for the user to fiddle with. But that’s not to say it doesn’t have any interesting features at all.
It has, of course, adjustable airflow that allows you to change from a tight to a loose MTL draw. It would be unusual for a modern vape not to have this basic feature. It also offers two different vaping modes: Eco and Boost. These can be chosen using the switch on the edge opposite the airflow.
Eco mode uses the dual coil in alternating mode (as mentioned earlier). This provides a less intense draw, but increases the lifespan of the coil and reduces the battery power used. Boost mode, which makes the logo flash multi-colored when selected, uses both meshes at once to provide a fuller flavor and more vapor, but will reduce the coil lifespan and use more battery power with each puff.
That illuminated LED logo mentioned above is the only indicator on the device, so don’t expect to find an LCD screen with battery readout, puff counter, and fancy animations. All the information about the current status of the device is given through the LED, from the mode selection to the battery and charge level.
Battery & Charging
For me, the battery is one of the key selling points of the NeXLIM GO. At 1800mAh, it is considerably bigger than many, if not most, vapes of similar cost, size, and style. Have a look around, and you’ll soon see that finding a battery of this capacity in a sub-twenty-dollar pod vape is pretty unique.
How long a full charge lasts varies considerably based on the mode you are using, so I tested the vape for several days in Eco mode, then in Boost mode, and then for a few days when I switched between the two modes at will. In Eco mode, a full charge can easily last for three to four days and maybe even push five days for the average user. A very light user might come close the the 10 days OXVA suggests a full charge can last, but I’d be surprised if most people got anywhere close to that.
In Boost mode, battery life drops to about half compared to Eco mode, so expect to get two full days of use (or double that if you are a light user). Bear in mind that I was using only the 0.8Ω pod. The power passing through the coil will automatically be increased if you are using the 0.6Ω version, so battery life will reduce accordingly. And of course, the opposite is true if you’re using the higher-resistance 1.2Ω pods.
The USB Type-C port is rated for 2A fast charging, which is something I am very glad to see considering that relatively large battery capacity. During my tests, a full charge from empty took between 45 and 50 minutes, while a top-up from the blue battery indicator light coming on took as little as 10 minutes. Not the super-fast charging starting to be seen in some devices, but very respectable times nonetheless.
Performance
As is increasingly common these days, the OXVA NeXLIM GO is designed to be used as either an MTL or an RDL device. Just how successful it is at providing those differing vaping experiences depends very much on the pod and mode you choose to use, but there is no doubt that it’s capable enough to handle both of these vaping styles.
With the airflow partially or fully closed, and the vape in Eco mode, the draw is plenty tight enough to satisfy MTL vapers. Even with the airflow open, and assuming you aren’t using the lowest resistance pod, MTL is going to be possible.
To get the first hint of RDL, you’ll really want to open the airflow fully and switch to Boost mode. This not only increases the power passing through the coil, but it also reduces the resistance of the coil. For example, in Boost mode, the 0.8Ω coil drops down to 0.4Ω resistance. At the same time, the wattage is increased from 16W to 30W.
Similar automatic adjustments occur when using the 0.6Ω and 1.2Ω pods. And while I only tested the 0.8Ω, the best RDL experience is going to be had from the 0.6Ω in Boost mode, as this will switch to 40W and 0.3Ω resistance.
I tested the device with both freebase and nic salts, and it handled both extremely well. Flavor production is great, and you can get a very satisfying throat hit, along with big clouds, if you stick to the Boost mode.
As mentioned earlier, I only have one pod with this vape, and despite having used it daily for nearly two weeks, it is still going strong. No leaks, no significant loss of efficiency, and only a slight loss of flavor within the last day or so. Is it still at peak level after two weeks? No. Can I happily continue using it? Yes!
