There are A LOT of Elf Bar flavors to choose from, and they vary across the different regions of the world, so finding the best or most popular wasn’t a simple task. The method we settled on was reading through hundreds of Reddit posts, Facebook groups, and vape forum discussions on the topic of Elf Bar flavors, and counting up how many times each flavor was mentioned (or voted) as a user’s “best” or “favorite”.

Here, listed in order of popularity, are the ten that appeared most often.

Other well-loved flavors include Sakura Grape and Miami Mint, both receiving 15 votes each, showing a preference for fruit and menthol combinations. Strawberry Ice rounds out the list, further suggesting that while fruit flavors dominate, users appreciate a balance of both sweet and cooling taste notes.

Best Selling Elf Bar Flavors

To determine whether social media users’ opinions matched the Elf Bar flavors people are regularly choosing to buy, we asked for sales data from a few different online vape retailers. Eightvape, Mi-Pod, and Vapesourcing were kind enough to share their top-seller data with us.

Note: Rather than try to cover every different Elf Bar/EBDesigns device, we limited it to the BC5000 as this is one of the most popular and well-known models.

There were few real surprises here apart from Blue Razz Ice not being higher on the list and Brown Tobacco being in 8th position. While reading through social media opinions, we didn’t see Brown Tobacco flavor mentioned once. Strawberry and Watermelon flavors dominated the sales at Mi-Pod, as they seem to elsewhere.

The ever-popular Strawberry Banana and Clear flavors topping the list isn’t unexpected, but Miami Mint and Blue Razz Ice not hitting the top 10 is. Of course, preferred or most popular flavors can vary depending on the regions the store covers, and sales data can be skewed by stock level, promotions, etc.

Strawberry-based flavors are apparently selling well at Vapesourcing, and overall the sales data broadly matches the popular Elf Bar flavors from the other stores and with the social media users.

My Favorite Elf Bar Flavors

While I am not a regular user of disposables, I have tried almost every Elf Bar flavor over the last few years and often carry a few around in case my refillable dies or I run out of e-liquid while away from home. This list is based on the flavors I have previously enjoyed and those I choose to buy whenever I need a throwaway/emergency vape.

Note: The range of Elf Bar flavors available where I live in Europe is likely to be different from those available in other regions. I have avoided including too many flavors that I know are localized to my location.

1. Blue Razz Ice: This is an intensely fruity flavor with a cooling menthol hit that stops it tasting overly sweet. My No.1 choice.
2. Lemon Lime: I’m a big fan of lemon as a flavor in almost anything. The slightly sweeter lime notes only add to the enjoyment.
3. Sakura Grape: Grape flavors can be hit or miss for me, but Sakura Grape’s fruity and floral taste really hits the spot.
4. Watermelon Ice: The incredibly refreshing watermelon flavor is improved by the icy cooling aftertaste.
5. Triple Berry Ice: Layers of sweet berry flavors with an ice-cold menthol finish. Similar to Blue Razz Ice but slightly sweeter.
6. Strawberry Kiwi: The hit of fresh kiwi flavor makes this less sweet (and more enjoyable for me) than most strawberry Elf Bars.
7. Kiwi Passionfruit Guava: More fruity and tropical than almost any other Elf Bar flavor, but could be a bit sweet for some.
8. Pineapple Ice: Sweet but also slightly tart pineapple with a cooling ice hit that I really enjoy in any vape liquid.
9. Strawberry Banana: This is a popular flavor and it’s easy to see why. Fruity, sweet, and mellow enough to enjoy all day.
10. Pink Lemonade: Enjoyable sweet strawberry and raspberry, combined with a subtle citrus flavor.

Do Flavors Taste the Same in All Elf Bar Devices?

It is easy to assume that a particular flavor in an Elf Bar 600 will taste the same as in a BC5000 or CR600 model, but that isn’t necessarily the case. Although the vape juice inside a Miami Mint BC5000 should technically be the same as in a Miami Mint CR600, the coil, airflow, and wattage could be significantly different.

All of these device features can affect the flavor of the e-liquid, so while the difference shouldn’t be very pronounced, don’t expect the taste to be identical across every Elf Bar model it appears in.

It is also worth considering that some flavors can lose their intensity more quickly than others. Fruity flavors like Blue Razz Ice and Sakura Grape are often said to maintain their taste better, while creamy or dessert-inspired flavors, such as Banana Cake or Coffee Tobacco, can sometimes noticeably fade before the e-liquid is used up.

Best Elf Bar Flavor: The Winners

Overall, Strawberry Banana performed best in terms of combined sales data and users’ favorite flavor votes. Watermelon Ice, Blue Razz Ice, Sakura Grape, and Clear also seem to be considered top-tier by many Elf Bar users. 

Aside from Clear, several other mint or menthol flavors also seem popular, with Miami Mint and Lemon Mint appearing at mid-table in many of our lists. Strawberry Kiwi and Triple Berry Ice also get honorable mentions.

To compile the final rankings of the best Elf Bar flavors, we examined the data to determine the average ranking of each flavor. The final rankings are:

A few of the more outlandish Elf Bar flavors, such as Tropical Rainbow Blast and Frozen Creamsicle, did not appear in any of the data. This could be because the flavors just haven’t been a hit with users, are too new to have become favorites, or because they are not available in as many locations.
