The bottom line

FRESOR’s B8000 X1 disposables are perfect for vapers who enjoy sweet flavors and dense draws. While I would personally take down the sweetness of these flavors a notch or two, they aren’t so sweet that they can’t still be vaped on.

The flavors aren’t the only thing that is powerful about these disposables. Thanks to the dual mesh coils, the draw is comparable to higher strength nicotine disposables so they’re a great choice for vapers in countries where the nicotine content is restricted (like Canada) and who are in need of more nicotine to help them stick with vaping.

Although the design isn’t as simple and clean as I would normally like to see, it doesn’t take away from what really matters the most and that is the performance. In that department, FRESOR has done an excellent job of delivering a disposable that hits all the right marks for a great device.

Lately, FRESOR is a name that has been gaining traction in the vaping world. They’ve released numerous disposables, pod systems, and CBD vapes, and I had noticed their presence at numerous trade shows. However I never had the chance to actually test their products for myself—that is, until now.

The FRESOR B8000 X1 is their latest disposable vape to hit the market. It’s rated for 8000 puffs and comes prefilled with 15ml of ejuice. Inside of the B8000 X1 are two mesh coils which work simultaneously at 12.1W.

In addition to having a 600mAh battery and Type-C charging, the B8000 X1 features a built-in smart display which tracks battery life and e-liquid levels. There are 20 flavors available.

Is the FRESOR B8000 X1 worthy of the praise that I’ve seen it garner from other vapers? There’s only one way to find out—testing!

Design & Build Quality

  • FRESOR B8000 X1 Disposables Review - 3

This is the first disposable vape from FRESOR that I’ve gotten my hands on. My first impression is that there is a lot going on with the design. I’ve always been partial to simple, understated disposables, so the B8000 X1 is a bit much for me. It’s not a bad looking disposable but it’s just very busy.

The front and back of the B8000 X1 are completely filled with icons, writing, and designs. FRESOR has managed to include “DUAL MESH”, a depiction of the mesh coils, “HIGH-POWER”, “FRESOR”, “8000 PUFFS” in large lettering, “DESIGNED BY ALD”, “SALT NICOTINE”, a number 15, the flavor, and an eliquid/battery life display.

The B8000 X1 is only 95mm tall, 43mm wide, and 20mm deep, so all of these icons and wording make it look a bit cramped. On the other hand, you know exactly what you’re getting out of this disposable just by examining the device so the icons and wording aren’t for nothing.

In addition to being quite small, they’re also very light. I can carry three or four with me at a time and they don’t add much weight or bulk at all. Portability is a pro for the B8000 X1, even though subtlety may not be.

Each flavor is a different color that features a two-tone gradient that fades from black at the top to another color at the bottom.

The top portion of the B8000 X1 is a shiny black plastic, including the mouthpiece. There’s a textured series of diagonal lines that add some grip, although this isn’t naturally where I would hold the device.

The ‘busy’ lower portion is finished in a soft-touch material which is most noticeable on the sides of the device. It’s hard to feel it on the front and back because of the rest of the wording and icons that are there but when you hold it in your hand you can feel the soft-touch quite distinctly.

Features

FRESOR B8000 X1 Disposables Review - 12

The B8000 X1 is yet another disposable that looks to provide a high amount of puffs in a small and portable body. This offering from FRESOR houses 15ml of ejuice and offers 8000 puffs per disposable.

Inside of the B8000 X1 are dual 0.9Ω mesh coils which work simultaneously at 12.1W to vaporize the ejuice inside. When you take a draw you can clearly feel the warmer, denser vapor from the two mesh coils working together. The flavor is also very good; no doubt also a result of the dual mesh coils.

Of course, you aren’t going to vape 8000 puffs on a single charge. The B8000 X1 has a 600mAh built-in battery that recharges with USB C charging.

Like many other disposable vapes that are coming out lately, there’s a small display on the front of the device which displays your battery charge and ejuice levels. These are displayed as a percentage. Upon taking a puff, the display will first show your remaining ejuice (indicated by a small droplet icon), followed by your battery charge level (indicated by a small battery icon).

Each charge lasts for approximately 1500-2000 puffs, depending on the length of your draws. A full charge will deplete the ejuice by approximately 20-25%. For example, after vaping a full charge, the ejuice level display showed anywhere from 75-80% ejuice remaining. After the next second full charge, the ejuice level displayed 50-60% remaining.

In addition to these specs, the B8000 X1 also has a few more features that work under-the-radar to improve the vaping experience.

One such feature is the use of two layers of linen cotton as well as two layers of wood pulp cotton for better wicking.

Another is the “Maze Airway” which adds improved leak-resistance. The airflow pathway on the B8000 X1 isn’t straight but instead is constructed in a zig-zag pattern. While I didn’t notice any turbulence or difference in the draw when compared to a straight airflow path, this design makes it more difficult for ejuice to leak.

As far as my experience goes, I did not have any leaking from any of my four units during the entire time that I tested them. Based on this experience, I’m inclined to say that this maze structure works as intended and does a good job of preventing leaking.

Flavors

FRESOR B8000 X1 Disposables Review - 1

As the saying goes, a disposable vape is only as good as its flavors. For the FRESOR B8000 X1, the flavors (at least the ones that I tried) are on the sweeter side of the scale but nonetheless pleasing to vape. Not all vapers will enjoy the sweetness but if you want a real flavor kick from your disposables then these may be worth trying out.

There are twenty flavors that have been released so far, with more planned for the future. There’s a lot of flavor variety here with not only fruit flavors, but mint, tobacco, candy, and more. Even though I did not receive it to try, I’m pleased to see that there’s a tobacco flavor.

I’m going to describe how five of these flavors taste to me and what I think of them. However, keep in mind that just because I like a flavor that does not mean that you will like it. Similarly, if I don’t like a flavor this does not mean that you will not like it. This is solely my subjective opinion.

Lemon Mint

There are no surprises with this flavor. As the flavor name says, it’s a lemon and mint flavor that is balanced well. The lemon flavor is strong and somewhat tart, although not too sour. I can taste the lemon flavor all throughout the inhale and exhale, with the mint taste following shortly after the inhale. It’s very smooth and refreshing without being too overwhelmingly minty.

Tropical Rainbow Blast

Although this isn’t named as a candy flavor it tastes a bit like a fruit candy flavor. It’s difficult to single out individual fruit flavors, but it tastes good and that’s what’s important, right? This flavor has quite the sugary, sweet kick so the “Blast” part of the name couldn’t be more accurate.

Blue Lazz

At first I thought that this was a typo but according to FRESOR’s website, it’s not. Instead of just a blue razz flavor like you would find from other brands, this flavor is a combination of multiple berries like blueberries, raspberry, strawberry, and cranberry. Granted, the blue razz flavor is the strongest and for the most part you taste what you would expect from a blue razz vape. However, other berry flavors come in throughout the exhale that add something different to this flavor. Like Tropical Rainbow Blast it’s pretty sweet but it’s my favorite flavor for the B8000 X1.

Rainbow Candy

This flavor is very similar to Tropical Rainbow Blast, only sweeter and with more candy flavor. It still tastes fruity, although the sweetness has been turned up a couple of notches to absolutely sugary. It’s too sweet for me to vape on constantly throughout the day but I found myself grabbing it for the occasional few puffs. Good flavor, just very sweet.

How do they vape?

FRESOR B8000 X1 Disposables Review - 4

FRESOR’S B8000 X1 disposables accomplish what any good disposable should; provide satisfying vapor, good battery life, and long extended usage out of a single device. I found the flavors to be generally a bit too sweet for my tastes but that didn’t stop me from vaping the heck out of most of the flavors.

Out of the four flavors that I tried, only Rainbow Candy was too sweet for consistent use. The other three flavors had me hooked and I genuinely enjoyed using them. Would I mind if they were a bit less sweet? No, but they’re good all the same.

I’ve been using these in 20mg/ml (2%) nicotine strength and they’re incredibly satisfying for the nicotine content. I think that this comes down to the dual mesh coils working together at 12.1W to deliver double the vapor that you would get from a single mesh coil. Because of this, they produce a lot of vapor per puff and feel more like 30-40mg/ml disposables.

Verdict

FRESOR’s B8000 X1 disposables are perfect for vapers who enjoy sweet flavors and dense draws. While I would personally take down the sweetness of these flavors a notch or two, they aren’t so sweet that they can’t still be vaped on.

The flavors aren’t the only thing that is powerful about these disposables. Thanks to the dual mesh coils, the draw is comparable to higher strength nicotine disposables so they’re a great choice for vapers in countries where the nicotine content is restricted (like Canada) and who are in need of more nicotine to help them stick with vaping.
