The bottom line
The design team did a great job with this device. Itโs designed to look like a disposable vape, which makes it very discreet, but it still works effectively and doesnโt sacrifice performance to do so.
I like that it has some weight and doesnโt feel cheap at all. It completely conceals your cartridge, keeping others in the dark as to what you are up to. Your nosy neighbors don’t need to know everything! It also protects your cartridge from damage while on the go.
Add in the three voltage settings and a preheat mode that is useful for getting thicker materials heated up, and the Interactive Concealer is a real winner.
Its ease of use is another attractive selling point of this device. It takes no experience to use, and the setup is super quick. The only real problem is the size of the operator button, which is a little small and can be difficult to press quickly, but this shouldnโt be a deal breaker for most people.
All things considered, the HoneyStick Interactive Concealer is a great and reliable 510 battery. The $40 pricing is maybe a little expensive for the plastic construction, but itโs a device that should last you through many cartridges to come.

Product Overview
HoneyStick is a well-known and established brand that specializes in cannabis products like 510-thread batteries, wax atomizers, and THC/concentrate vapes. Some of their most popular products include the HoneyStick Twist 510 battery, the Beekeeper and Elf Auto Draw concealer vapes, and the HoneyStick Extreme wax atomizer.
If youโve been shopping for any of the above product categories, youโve likely seen their devices. Whether in cannabis shops across North America or online, HoneyStick has a real presence.
Now, whatโs cool about the device Iโm reviewing today, the HoneyStick Interactive Concealer 510 Battery, is that unless you were told beforehand, Iโm confident you would believe itโs a disposable vape. Even when you take a draw, the display screen mimics that of most disposable vapes.
The discreet appearance is definitely a reason to get it, but another is just how simple it is to use. First, remove the bottom portion of the device, which is held to the device using magnets. Secondly, screw your 510 cartridge in. Finally, replace the cap.
The HoneyStick Interative Concealer 510 battery features three voltage settings and a 15-second preheat mode. It is powered by a 650mAh battery and uses Type-C charging.
In this review, Iโll go over the design, build quality, features, performance, and more. Read on to learn if this is the right concealed 510 battery for you.

Design & Build Quality
The HoneyStick Interactive Concealer 510 battery is a simple and unobtrusive draw-activated 510 battery. Itโs quite portable and can easily fit in a small purse or pocket, which I really like. It measures 89.5mm in height, 43.6mm in width, and 23.8mm in depth. It feels solid and has some weight, but I wouldn’t say it is heavy. With a cartridge installed, it weighs 73g, which isnโt too bad.
Thanks to the small size, I can conceal the device almost completely in my hands. The rounded edges of the Interactive Concealer 510 battery make this comfortable to do, too, and it feels natural to hold.
The HoneyStick Interactive Concealer consists of two pieces: a top device portion and a bottom portion with a 510 connector. The two pieces are connected by strong magnets that keep the whole thing together nicely. The device separates at the bottom just above the LED light bar. To access the 510 connector, just remove the top portion.
Because the cartridge is completely enclosed and concealed inside the device, it protects your cartridge from cracking in your pocket. I also didnโt have to worry about my cartridge breaking when I tossed the device in my purse, which is one less thing to worry about.
For this review, I received the black/green version of the HoneyStick Interactive Concealer 510 battery. It features a rubber wrapping that adds extra grip to the device. The green paint that is used to color the beehive pattern and the logo have held up well during use, showing no wear so far. There are no visible scratches or markings either.
Near the bottom of the device, there is an LED lightbar that wraps around the entire device. This LED indicates your voltage setting when you take a draw, but Iโll go into further detail about this later.
You will find the Type-C charging port, operating button, and a solo airflow hole on the bottom of the device. The flat base allows you to stand your device up without it toppling over. The mouthpiece is on the smaller side, and itโs very comfortable to use.
This device is draw-activated, which is my personal preference for 510 batteries as it just feels more natural to use.
I find that using a button is an unnecessary extra step, and sometimes the placement can be awkward. But thatโs not something you need to worry about with this device; the button is strictly used for switching voltage settings, activating the preheat mode, and powering on and off the device.
Getting Started
When it comes to 420 vaping, a good 510 battery paired with a vape cartridge might just be the easiest way to do it. This setup is a great option for those who are new to cannabis vaping, but equally great even for those who have years of experience. Setup and use is as easy as 1, 2, 3.
First, separate the top portion from the battery. It uses two strong batteries that hold the two pieces together. To separate them, just give the bottom/top portion a gentle tug.
Once you have the cap off, youโll see the exposed 510 connector on the bottom piece. Take your cartridge and simply screw it onto the connector. The Interactive Concealer accommodates cartridges ranging from 0.5ml to 3.0ml. Of course, cartridges range in diameter and height, so make sure your cartridge is 16mm or less in diameter and up to 58mm in height for it to fit.
After the cartridge is in place and secured, put the two pieces back together, and youโre good to go.
To turn on the device, press the button 5 times quickly. To access the voltage settings, quickly press the button 3 times, then press it 3 more times to round-robin through the settings until you reach your desired voltage setting. To activate the preheat setting, press the button twice quickly. The preheat setting completes in 15 seconds.
While not necessary, you can use the preheat mode to preheat the cartridge. If you find yourself using a thicker material, the preheat mode might be helpful. Otherwise, you can just draw on the mouthpiece to start vaping.
Features & Functions
While the HoneyStick Interactive Concealer 510 battery was designed with simplicity in mind, it does have some handy features.
To access the voltage settings, quickly press the power button three times. The voltage output will then light up on the display screen. The three voltage settings are:
- Green: 2.8V
- Blue: 3.4V
- Red: 3.8V
Preheat mode can be activated by pressing the operator button twice quickly. When preheat mode is activated, there is a red rocket symbol that appears on the display screen. When it disappears, the device is preheated and ready to use.
Battery & Charging
The HoneyStick Interactive Concealer features a 650mAh battery, which may sound small, but it keeps its charge for days! I have gone up to 5 days without needing to recharge again, which is truly impressive. If you donโt use it every day, I can easily see it lasting for over a week on a charge.
The battery indicator is seemingly accurate, too. Where most 510 batteries use a color-coded battery indicator, this device has a full display screen that shows a percentage, giving you real-time, precise information.
When it comes time to charge your device, simply use the Type-C charging port to recharge. The screen will display the progress and let you know when it’s fully charged.
Performance
Considering the HoneyStick Interactive Concealer 510 battery does not come with a button to activate, I was worried that it might take a bit of struggling to get it going and warmed up. Thankfully, I encountered no such issues, and my cartridge heated up easily and efficiently. Even thicker materials vaped well and delivered good vapor, and I rarely had to use the pre-heat function.
Speaking of which, the preheat function is still great to have. Simply press the button twice, ensure the red rocket appears on the display screen, and wait the 15 seconds it takes to heat up. Once the red rocket disappears, you are set to take a draw. As I said, I didnโt find the preheat function to be necessary during my use, but Iโm happy itโs there because Iโd rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it!
While subtle, the voltage settings do provide a different draw with each setting. The lowest setting, 2.8V (green), offers a light draw while still being flavorful. The 3.4V (blue) setting offers a more balanced draw with great flavor and vapor. The highest setting, 3.8V (red), will produce the most clouds and strongest draw, but the tradeoff is that the flavor suffers a bit.
While I preferred the 3.4V setting for its balance of vapor and flavor, I adjusted my voltage depending on the time of day. During the day, I would use the lowest and middle settings exclusively, allowing me to be alert and get stuff done. I reserved using the highest setting for nighttime, when I would unwind and cuddle up with a book.
All-around, really great experience using the Interactive Concealer.
