VAPORESSO DELICIU E-Juice Review: Like Vaping A Disposable

VAPORESSO just made a huge move. They’re one of the most well-known vaping brands in the world and, while they were exclusively a hardware manufacturer up until this point, they’ve just released a new line of e-juices called DELICIU.

It’s not every day that a major vaping brand comes out with a line of e-juices, especially not a brand as big as VAPORESSO. Up until this point, hardware brands have tended to stay as just that, and e-juice brands like Dinner Lady, Pachamama, and NAKED have been the go-to for refillable devices. VAPORESSO is looking to change that with their DELICIU brand.

These nicotine salt ejuices are first launching in the UK in 10mg and 20mg nicotine strengths, with a launch planned for North America and other markets later this year. DELICIU’s ejuices have been created specifically with pod systems in mind and are meant to be a viable alternative to disposable vapes.

VAPORESSO has shown their prowess across a variety of vaping categories like pod vapes, subohm tanks, and vape mods. But are their e-juices just as good? I’ve been vaping on them for two weeks to find out.

About DELICIU

DELICIU is a brand by VAPORESSO but it wasn’t developed by just any team. DELICIU has been created by the same research and development team behind VAPORESSO’s XROS series of devices, which are some of the best selling pod systems to date.

These ejuices have been made specifically to pair with XROS pods and bring the absolute best experience possible. However, that’s not to say that these ejuices aren’t compatible with other pod devices, because they are. Any device that can be used with nicotine salt ejuices can be used with DELICIU’s ejuices.

DELICIU’s ejuices are made with innovative ingredients to provide authentic flavors. They’re also made with minimal sweetener to be easy on coils.

But why choose DELICIU over another ejuice brand or even over a disposable vape? Well, VAPORESSO has put forth some pretty compelling reasons. For one, we all know that disposables are wasteful so DELICIU’s ejuices have been formulated to recreate that disposable vaping experience but with your pod vape. 

Another reason that you might choose DELICIU is down to the production. All of their ejuices are crafted by an internationally certified team of perfumers and meticulously designed using cutting-edge scent creation techniques.

This all sounds great, of course, but what specific flavors does DELICIU offer? Let’s get into that right now.

Flavors

Right at launch, DELICIU has twenty flavors available. That’s more than even some established ejuice brands that have been around for years. Their flavors aren’t boring either and it was nice to see some flavor combinations that made me go “Wow, I want to try that one”.

Of the twenty flavors, sixteen are “mainstream” and four are what VAPORESSO calls “exclusive innovative flavors”:

For a set of launch flavors, the options are pretty good but obviously lack a tobacco flavor. There are a lot of pineapple flavors though! While this is clearly a fruit-centric flavor lineup, you can’t deny that some of these just sound really good. Fizzy Cherry, Blueberry Pomegranate, Blackberry Lime, and Lemon Lime are some flavors that personally piqued my interest.

What I really liked about these ejuices is that there’s no guessing what flavor you’re vaping. You can try these without seeing the flavor and know just what you’re vaping on. The flavors are really that accurate and that’s not something that I can say about every ejuice brand.

Another thing that I really like is just how accurate and natural the flavors are. A lot of brands try to over-sweeten and ‘candy’ their ejuices to make them taste better but these don’t. The flavors that I tried are all true to the taste of the fruit. It’s a nice change if you’re sick and tired of artificial ejuices and like the natural sweetness of how fruits really taste.

I’m going to describe how six of these flavors taste to me and what I think of them. However, keep in mind that just because I like a flavor that does not mean that you will like it. Similarly, if I don’t like a flavor this does not mean that you will not like it. This is solely my subjective opinion.

For clarity, I tested these ejuices in three different, top-rated pod devices: the VAPORESSO XROS 3, the Uwell Caliburn G3, and the GEEKVAPE SONDER Q. All of DELICIU’s nicotine salt ejuices are a 50/50 Vg/PG blend.

Blueberry Sour Raspberry

This is just a well-balanced blue razz flavor overall and probably the best that I’ve had from an ejuice. It’s perfectly sweet and the blueberry and raspberry flavors hit my tongue and mix right away. It’s as tart as it is sweet and this sourness is so good that it keeps me going back for more draws. 

Fizzy Cherry

I don’t get that fizzy, pop feeling like I’ve gotten from some other ejuices and disposables. This ejuice is more like a light, cherry drink with a touch of coolness. The whole flavor is ‘light’ and mild, but I can still taste the cherry flavor very clearly. This flavor is good but I prefer ejuices with a bit more boldness.

Strawberry Raspberry Cherry Ice

This ejuice is a real winner in my books. I get a strawberry flavor on the inhale, quickly followed up with a mix of raspberry and cherry. It tastes a little like a cherry topped strawberry cheesecake to me but with the addition of raspberry. It’s a really full flavor that is nice and bold, just as I like my ejuices.

Apple Pear

This is an even mix of apple and pear that persists from the inhale all the way through the exhale. I particularly like that the pear flavor is really noticeable and not just a secondary flavor to the apple here. This isn’t a candy or unnatural flavor either; both the apple and pear flavors are right on the money for how it actually tastes to take a bite into the fruits.

Blackberry Lime

I can’t say that I’ve had this flavor before but it’s good. Different, but good. The blackberry flavor is sharp but sweet with a bit more of a bite than a blueberry and with a deeper taste. Lime finishes off the flavor with a sharp, interesting twist that adds a bit of sourness.

Pineapple Peach Mango

This is easily the best pineapple peach and mango ejuice that I’ve tried. Like their other flavors, there’s no abundance of sweetness but instead the natural taste of the fruits carries this ejuice to perfection. I taste the fruit flavors in the order of the name but there’s some overlap and remixing as I exhale too. First pineapple, then peach, then mango. The exhale brings back some pineapple and some peach. 

How do they vape?

Now, you might have heard some vapers say that no ejuices taste like disposables and that’s what prevents them from using a pod device; the flavor from refillable devices just isn’t there. Well, most of that comes down to the ejuices that are used as that’s where all of the flavor comes from. 

After trying some of these ejuices in various pod devices like the XROS 3, as well as in pod vapes from other brands, there’s a clear difference in how DELICIU’s ejuices vape as opposed to ejuices that I’ve tried from other brands – these ejuices actually taste and feel like you’re vaping on a disposable.

It’s not that they’re overly sweet either, because they aren’t. The flavor is just more full and ‘wet’, leaving a pleasant aftertaste even after you’re done taking a draw. 

Flavor accuracy is on another level here. I didn’t ever need to check with ejuice I was vaping, even with multiple devices and pods on the go, because it’s so easy to tell from the flavor alone. 

This also has to do with how natural these ejuices taste. DELICIU clearly took care not to overdo these ejuices with sweetener or candying because the fruit flavors taste just like the actual fruit. As we all know, fruits are delicious but they don’t taste like candy and this natural taste is exactly the type of flavor that these ejuices deliver.

And that natural taste due to less sweetener is apparent after you use these ejuices for a while.

For myself, after using these ejuices for a few weeks with three really great pod devices, the combination of a good low-sweetener ejuice like these ones and a good pod becomes an obvious winner. The pods that I’m using are known to last for a while as it is but these ejuices allow me to eek out just a bit more life out of them. 

Verdict

VAPORESSO DELICIU ejuices are without a doubt the best nicotine salt ejuices that I’ve tried. They provide an experience that is so close to vaping on a disposable that I’m sure most vapers wouldn’t be able to tell the difference in a blind taste test. They’re really that good and that’s good news for vapers – and the environment.

If you’re one of those vapers who started with a disposable device and haven’t been able to make the switch to refillable devices due to the difference in flavor, DELICIU’s ejuices could be just what you need. Refillable devices are not only more eco-friendly but more cost-effective in the long-run. They’re also generally more customizable so it makes sense to make the switch.

I can only imagine that there will be more flavors released in the future and I’m excited to get my hands on those when they come out. Until then, I’m going to keep enjoying the ones that I have.
