Geek Bar B5000 Disposable Review: 30 Different Flavors!

If you have been in the vape world for a few years then you have probably heard of Geekvape. They have supplied vapers with some of the highest quality vapes over the years. In 2015, they started Geek Bar to launch their disposable lineup. As of late, they have been among the best of the best when it comes to disposables. We’ve previously reviewed the Geek Bar Meloso and X6000, which both performed well.

I have been testing and using the Geek Bar B5000 and I’m excited to tell you all about it in this review. The B5000 is available in 30 different flavors and that is surely one of the things that makes this device stand out amongst the competition.

The Geek Bar B5000 is filled with 14ml of ejuice which can get you up to 5000 puffs. And with its rechargeable 500mAh battery you will be able to vape all of the ejuice inside before needing to toss the device.

Design & Build Quality

The Geek Bar B5000 is a super simple device that is easy to use. The device is made of two separate pieces that meet together at the top. If you are familiar with the Geek Bar X6000, it’s made of the same materials. When it comes to the B5000, you could consider it the boxy version of the X6000, which features a cylindrical shape.

The B5000 is made of a metal body that is painted with a soft-touch coating. The top of the device is made of a clear plastic that covers another piece of plastic that is the same color of the body. Through the plastic you can see the same detail lines which are similar to the X6000.

Each device features an ombre effect using one color, with the device being a lighter hue on the top of the device and a darker hue on the bottom. When it comes to logos, Geek Bar has stuck to what they know works and features a small GB logo on one side and a larger full sized Geek Bar logo on the opposite side.

Just below the full Geek Bar logo is the name of the device, B5000. These are all printed in a white font and can be easily seen. With the lighter colored devices these logos are a little more difficult to see. There is also the flavor of the device printed in a dark gray color that is easily seen on all colored devices.

The mouthpiece is a small oval-shaped opening, which is neither too small of an opening, nor too large. I really liked the smoothed out edges of the mouthpiece as this made it very comfortable for my lips to rest there while taking a draw. The material used for the mouthpiece is the same as that of the top of the device, as it is all one piece of material throughout the entire top portion of the device.

Finally, at the bottom of the device you will find the Type C charging port as well as a blue LED light that lights up when you draw on the device. The three rectangle slots for the lights on the bottom also serve as the airflow holes.

Lemon Iced Tea

This flavor is pretty unique when it comes to disposable lineups. This lemon iced tea flavor is amazing and very refreshing. Immediately after inhaling you can taste a strong iced tea flavor fill your mouth, followed by the sweetness of the lemon which lingers long after you exhale. This is a great flavor and if you like iced tea you have to try it.

Grape Ice

I would describe the grape flavor as more candied and not organic. The iced effect is present but not too cool or overpowering. I find that this flavor is good but there is an aftertaste I could do without. I would suggest this flavor to someone who is looking for a cooler grape flavor.

Watermelon Bubble Gum

This flavor is a tricky one. When it comes to watermelon flavors, they can be tricky because watermelons are very light tasting. So with this flavor I can’t say I taste any watermelon flavor. To me this tastes like a Dubble Bubble bubble gum and I absolutely loved it. So no, the flavor name to me is not 100% accurate, but the flavor is great!

Kiwi Passion Fruit

This is a great mix of the two flavors, with the kiwi and passion fruit mixing in the mouth. The best way to describe this is that the flavor pops with kiwi, then passion fruit, and back to kiwi again. With the flavor lingering long after you exhale. This is without a doubt my favorite flavor that I received.

Mint

This is a very minty peppermint flavor. The flavor is absolutely true to its name. If you are a mint fan who enjoys a strong mint flavor, then this may be the perfect one for you.

How do they vape?

Much like the X6000, the Geek Bar B5000 is only available in 50mg (5%) nicotine strength. The B5000 delivers a loose MTL draw that is more on the lighter side. I did not find the draw to be that dense or powerful. The flavor was fairly mild for many of the flavors I tried and a little stronger with other flavors.

You can expect to get a cooler vapor from the B5000, which is the opposite of that of the X6000 which was much warmer in my opinion.

Much like other Geek Bar disposables I did not experience any issues with drawing on the device. The device was very responsive and did not fail at all. I also didn’t have any experience with leaking while using this device.

Verdict

The Geek Bar B5000 is a super easy to use device without the worry of messing with buttons or an adjustable airflow. Each one comes prefilled with 14ml of ejuice which will get you up to 5000 puffs. Depending on how much you vape, you can expect to get around 2 weeks of usage from each device.

The B5000 comes with a rechargeable battery that can be recharged using the Type C charging port. With the amount of ejuice in these you want to ensure you can fully use it up before needing to toss it.

The flavor lineup is among the largest and best that I have seen. There is truly a flavor option for all vapers out there. There are lots of fruit/beverage options as well as a tobacco flavor and a mint option.

The B5000 are much smaller in size to that of the X6000 and hold the same amount of liquid. There are also many more flavor options. However, the main difference between the two is that the B5000 offers a cooler draw than the X6000 which is more dense and warm.

If you enjoy a loose MTL draw that is on the cooler side and are looking to try new flavors and are sick of the same 10 options most devices offer, you are sure to find some truly unique flavor combos with the B5000.
