Innokin INNOBAR 7000 Disposables Review

Innokin is a popular vape brand that needs no introduction. Veteran vapers, and even those new to vaping, will no doubt have heard the name or seen their products.

For those readers who don’t know Innokin, they’re one of the largest vaping brands around. They’ve released lots of great products over the last few years, many of which we have reviewed such as the Innokin ArcFire, Klypse Zip, Klypse, and Sceptre 2.

Innokin is most well-known for their pod systems but they also make quite a few disposable vapes too and one of their latest is the INNOBAR 7000. There are 12 flavors available and each one comes in a different color.

Each INNOBAR 7000 comes filled with 16ml of ejuice and houses a 1.2Ω coil. They’re rated for 7000 puffs, which should last most vapers at least a week of vaping. Plus, they output a constant 3.6V so the draw is consistent throughout most of the battery life. They’re also rechargeable with Type-C charging and feature adjustable airflow.

Design & Build Quality

There are many disposable vapes that are produced by Innokin but the INNOBAR 7000 brings a combination of size and longevity that makes it stand out from the rest of their offerings. It’s surprising that these offer 7000 puffs because they aren’t big and bulky like you would expect; quite the opposite actually.

These are small. They’re the size of 3000-5000 puff disposables at 78.2mm tall, 45mm wide, and 17mm thick. You can absolutely conceal one in your hand and take a few puffs without your co-workers being aware. The small size also means that you can comfortably keep a few flavors with you at a time.

The design is clean and simple with a little added color from the front and back panels. It’s a rectangular device but all of the corners are rounded. There’s a semi soft touch coating that contours the sides of the device, which is black no matter what color/flavor you get. It’s resistant to wear and feels good when you’re holding the INNOBAR 7000.

The front and back panels come in different colors depending on the flavor. They also have the flavor printed. Since each flavor is a different color it’s easy to tell which flavor you’re grabbing at a glance. If that isn’t enough, glancing at the printed flavor label is easy enough to do.

On the bottom of the INNOBAR 7000 is the Type-C charging port and the airflow control switch. If you hold the device with the “INNOBAR” side facing towards you, sliding the switch to the left opens the airflow and sliding it to the right restricts it.

The slider works by opening up or restricting a single airflow hole that is to the left of the slider; it’s not the slider itself that has the opening for the airflow. Because of this design, it’s impossible to tell how the airflow is set from just looking at the slider. You have to either know the direction that it opens and closes, or take a draw to find out. Labeling here would have made the airflow adjustment clearer.

Overall these feel really good in the hand and look and feel very well constructed. I like the small size and how portable these are, especially because of the specs that they offer (which I will go into detail about next).

Features

A disposable being portable and a disposable offering lots of puffs are usually mutually exclusive. However, somehow the INNOBAR 7000 manages to offer both. We’re at a point with disposables where we’re seeing 10,000 and even 15,000 puff devices so the INNOBAR doesn’t offer the most puffs by any means, but 7000 puffs from a small device is still impressive.

Each one comes prefilled with 16ml of ejuice inside. These are not meant to be refilled (nor does it look like there’s an easy way to do so) and should be properly disposed of once all of the ejuice has been used up. The INNOBAR 7000 is available only in 50mg/ml strength.

Inside of these is a 1.2Ω coil that outputs a constant 3.6V. This provides a consistent draw even as the battery charge is getting low, all the way up until shortly before the battery dies. If you notice the draw getting weaker then you know that the battery is going to die on you soon. In regards to the battery level, that’s the only warning that you get because there’s no battery level indicator on the INNOBAR 7000s.

The 650mAh battery provides enough juice to get me through just about two days of vaping on a single charge. When the battery dies, you can recharge to full in an hour using the Type-C charging port on the bottom. One of these will easily last you a week of vaping, even if you’re a heavy vaper who takes hundreds of puffs per day.

Flavors

The INNOBAR 7000 is available in 12 flavors, which isn’t a lot of choice. Any disposable vape that doesn’t offer at least 15-20 flavors is severely lacking compared to the competition; Innokin, come out with more flavors!

Like most disposable brands, whether or not they offer dozens of flavors, the flavor options for the INNOBAR 7000 are mostly fruit flavors. I have to give it to them though, there’s a lot of good ones and the mixes even sound good. Strawberry Raspberry Cherry anyone? The flavors that you can get for the INNOBAR 7000 are:

I’m going to describe how five of these flavors taste to me and what I think of them. However, keep in mind that just because I like a flavor that does not mean that you will like it. Similarly, if I don’t like a flavor this does not mean that you will not like it. This is solely my subjective opinion.

Spearmint

This tastes how you would expect spearmint to be. A touch of sweet and some minty goodness. There’s nothing special about this flavor but it doesn’t have to be; it’s an accurate spearmint flavor that delivers the taste that you would expect.

Watermelon Ice

There’s no extra sugariness or blast of sweetness here so don’t expect that from this flavor. What you should expect is a subtle watermelon flavor that tastes good because it’s authentic, not because it’s saddled with sweetness. There’s a decent amount of ice/cooling here too. This is a flavor that you can vape on all day and not get tired of it.

Strawberry Raspberry Cherry

This flavor is a bit sweeter than the other ones that I tried but still at a tolerable level for an all day vape. It’s also the tastiest. The cherry flavor is one of the best that I’ve had from any vape, disposable or otherwise, and just really juicy and flavorful. The way that the three fruit flavors mingle together is expertly done, making for a very fruity and excellent vape.

Mixed Berries

Another favorite of mine, Mixed Berries brings a nice berry flavor that is sweet and tangy. I don’t taste distinct berry flavors but rather a single berry flavor with notes of blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, and maybe even blackberries. It’s hard to choose between this and Strawberry Raspberry Cherry for the best flavor of the INNOBAR 7000 lineup so I think I’ll just have two number #1’s.

Pink Lemonade

Like Spearmint, Pink Lemonade isn’t radically different from other flavors of the same name and profile so it’s not ‘special’ in that regard. But once again, it tastes how you would expect it to taste with no funny aftertaste or weird flavors mixed in. It’s just a solid pink lemonade flavor and anyone who enjoys this flavor from other brands will love it with the INNOBAR 7000.

How do they vape?

Constant output isn’t something that very many disposable vapes offer. In fact, I can’t think of any off the top of my head. The INNOBAR 7000’s 3.6V constant output makes a big positive difference to the vaping experience, especially as you roll into day two of using it on a single charge.

Where most other vapes would start drawing weaker and delivering a less-than-satisfying draw, the INNOBAR 7000’s stays strong and keeps providing the same draw strength as when they were fresh off a charge.

The airflow is something that I have to go over. It’s a mouth to lung draw no matter how you set the airflow, from a tight MTL with the airflow open, to a tighter MTL draw with it set to the restricted setting.

As I mentioned earlier, it’s impossible to know how it’s set without taking a draw because the slider itself doesn’t give you any indication, which is an issue.

Another issue is fine adjustments. It’s difficult with the INNOBAR 7000 because the airflow adjustment is made up of two holes of different sizes. With the airflow set one way, a larger hole allows air through. When you set the airflow the other way, a smaller airflow hole allows air through. You’re better off setting it to one of the two settings rather than trying to do fine adjustments which make little to no difference.

For being 50mg/ml nicotine strength (5%) the draw is very smooth and not as powerful as expected. If you aren’t used to this strength then you’ll still have to be careful not to intake too much nicotine but they vape very well for a high strength disposable. The satisfaction is still present but I felt like I had to take more puffs to get to the same level of satisfaction as other 5% disposables.

Verdict

While the airflow adjustment could be better with more range of adjustment, the Innokin INNOBAR 7000 disposable is a solid vape regardless. The flavors are perfectly sweet and authentic and the vaping experience from the constant voltage output, when compared to other disposable vapes, makes these much more enjoyable to vape on throughout a charge .

In addition to the performance, the small size and the amount of puffs that they offer is incredible. 7000 puffs from a device that can be completely concealed in your hand is portability at its finest and one of the best selling-points of the INNOBAR 7000. If you’re concerned with portability but still want longevity, you don’t have to sacrifice either with these disposables.

I would like to see more flavors in different categories in the future as the current flavor lineup is a bit one dimensional. However, maybe you can live with the flavors that they offer right now because they’re all quite tasty. If you like the flavors that you see, I think that you’ll be happy with the INNOBAR 7000’s.
