What is THCa?

Each THCa cartridge comes prefilled with a full gram of live resin extract and THCa. I received 3 cartridges for the purpose of this review and they each contain approximately 50% THCa, 0.28% Delta 9 THC, 19% CBDa and 5% other cannabinoids, for a total of 74% cannabinoids per cartridge. 

Each cartridge has a label that shows that each batch has passed pesticides and heavy metal tests, showing that there are none present. As I mentioned earlier, but just to reiterate, their vapes contain no MCT, PG, VG, or Vitamin E Acetate.

For this review, I was sent three of the six available strains. I will be going over the cannabinoid composition of each strain, the flavors, and the effects that each strain had on me. The strains I will be going over are Blueberry Cookie, Maui Wowie, and Runtz.

Blueberry Cookie (Indica)

Blueberry Cookie is an Indica strain that has 51.3% THCa, 0.27% D9, 21.4% CBDa, 1.7% other  cannabinoids for a total cannabinoid content of 74.7% cannabinoids.

The blueberry flavor is so strong, it feels like you just grabbed a handful of blueberries and piled them in your mouth. The sweetness is very natural and not candied at all. You can tell that there are floral notes as you exhale and the blueberry flavor dissipates. This flavor is absolutely delicious.

I found that Blueberry Cookie gave me a very calming feeling, like being hugged by a warm blanket with no worries in the world. This strain is great for relieving the blues, stress and inflammation.

Maui Wowie (Sativa)

Maui Wowie is a sativa strain with 49.2% THCa, 0.28% D9, 17.5% CBDa, 7.5% other cannabinoids for a total cannabinoid content of 74.2%.

The flavor of this strain took me straight to the beach. It’s very tropical with hints of pineapple and the perfect amount of sweetness. This is the perfect strain for when you need an extra boost of happiness and some much needed energy.

Runtz (Hybrid)

Runtz is a hybrid strain that has 49.2% THCa, 0.28% D9, 17.5% CBDa, and 17.5% other cannabinoids for a total cannabinoid content of 74.2%.

The flavor on this one takes a little longer to appear, when compared to the Blueberry Cookie strain. This one tastes really woodsy and nature-like at first, but then the subtle fruity flavors emerge. However, they aren’t overwhelming and are nearly unnoticeable.

The subtleness is nice and the flavor really comes together towards the second half of the inhale. This strain is likely to make you feel quite alert and wake you up if you are feeling a little lazy. This Runtz strain is great for mood boosting, relieving stress and for those looking to unwind.

Verdict

I have used many TribeTokes products in the past, including their CBD and Delta 8 cartridges, as well as their CBD and Delta 8 disposables. I have even tried their Live Resin CBD gummies, which are great. One thing that has been consistent with all of these products is that they are all top-quality and produce effects that you can really notice. Now, after using their THCa line of cartridges, I can say that this statement remains true.
