Wotofo Ultra Disposable Review: Perfect for Smokers Looking to Quit

Wotofo Ultra disposables are on the larger side of disposable vapes. They’re 112.8mm tall and have a 24.6mm diameter so they’re comparable to a vape pen. These are a size where you’ll have trouble carrying any more than 2 of these around with you in your pockets but if you carry around a bag or purse then this won’t be a problem. For anyone who likes to carry multiple disposables and flavors around, the size of these should be a consideration.

Each one comes prefilled with 8.5ml of ejuice in 50mg strength. These are filled with nicotine salt ejuice so they’re ideal for heavy smokers looking to quit and make the switch to vaping. Wotofo claims up to 3000 puffs from each one.

The look and design of these are nice. Each one has a translucent shell with square-ish ribbing throughout. I say ‘square-ish” because the sides and corners are rounded so it’s like a hybrid between a square and a circle. Whatever it is, this ribbing adds texture and gives the Wotofo Ultra a different look from other disposables. It’s not too much though and I like the subtle design. 

I received 5 flavors for this review. Of the five, three are red and two are green; the exact same red and the exact same green. This makes it difficult to pick out a flavor just by the color of the shell and I wish that Wotofo had made them different shades or even totally different colors would have been best.

On the front you’ll see WOTOFO ULTRA printed in silver with the flavor printed in very small font underneath. Since it’s impossible to tell the flavor apart by the color of the shell, you would think that the flavor would be printed in larger font but it’s not. If you’re older and/or farsighted then you better have your reading glasses within reach.

The mouthpiece is transparent and lightly tinted the same color as the device. This mouthpiece is slim, smooth, and duckbill shaped. It’s comfortable to vape on and I have no issues with it.

On the bottom of the Wotofo Ultra there’s an LED indicator that lights up each time you take a puff. It’s not very bright so these are still perfectly usable even if you’re trying to be discreet.

Overall the fit and finish of these disposables are great. The shell feels nice to hold and they generally feel like solid devices. I’ve dropped these a few times by accident and other than some scuffing and minor scratches they are still functioning as they did when I got them.

Flavors

Wotofo’s Ultra disposables are available in 14 flavors. These are the same flavors that their other disposable vapes come in so if you’ve used any other Wotofo disposable then you may be familiar with some of them. For this review I have 5 Wotofo Ultra flavors on hand.

I’m going to describe how each flavor tastes to me and what I think of them. Keep in mind that just because I like a flavor does not mean that you will like it, and vice-versa. This is solely my subjective opinion.

Strawberry Ice Cream

This gives off the flavor of a strawberry milkshake, complete with a little vanilla to really sell the flavor. This flavor isn’t really for me but I have to give props where props are due. It’s hard to recreate a flavor like this and Wotofo has done a really good job. 

Guava Kiwi Passion Fruit

This tropical mix is really nice. Guava and passion fruit are the main flavors that I taste on the inhale, followed by a subtle flavor of kiwi on the exhale. It’s slightly sour, mostly sweet, and all around tasty. No menthol at all here.

Mint

This is like a stick of freshmint gum. There isn’t a lot of gum flavor but that’s what it reminds me of. It’s a nice sweet mint and it’s refreshing to vape on. For a mint flavor though it’s not as minty as I’m sure some would like. 

Strawberry Banana Ice

Strawberry banana is a tried and true flavor and a staple in any disposable brands lineup. While I don’t think that this one is any better than all of the others out there, it’s a solid flavor. The mix is perfect, half strawberry and half banana. It’s like a strawberry banana smoothie, complete with the menthol chill to round it all out.

Watermelon Ice

If you vape on disposables a lot then you’ll be familiar with this flavor. It’s also known as “Lush Ice”. The watermelon in this disposable is super strong and pronounced. It’s not quite candied, but not natural either. Rather than emphasizing just the sweet taste of watermelon, the watery taste is really pronounced. It’s a different take on a watermelon flavor and one that I enjoy vaping. 

How Do They Vape?

The performance of the Wotofo Ultra disposables is most similar to the Wotofo Wafer disposables, but the difference is the puff count. These are filled with 8.5ml as opposed to the 2.2ml capacity of the Wotofo Wafers. This means you’ll get a lot more vaping out of one of these and I see them as the next step up if you liked the Wotofo Wafer disposables. Each Ultra will get you up to 3000+ puffs but you’ll have to recharge it in order to get there. There’s a micro-USB charging port located on the bottom of the device in order to recharge. 

Vaping on these you’ll get a tight mouth to lung draw that is close to the draw from a cigarette. The vapor is warm and the flavor is very good for a disposable vape. The vapor is also very smooth and, thanks to the 50mg nicotine salt, also very satisfying. I think Wotofo’s strong point for their disposables is their flavors because they are some of the best that I’ve tried. 

Their quality control is also excellent. Out of the 25+ disposables that I’ve used from Wotofo (across all their varieties of disposables), only 1 didn’t work. Out of these Ultra’s, all of them worked perfectly and are still going strong as I write this review. I haven’t had wicking issues or problems with leaking and that’s all good news for these disposables.

Verdict

Out of all of Wotofo’s different disposables that I’ve tried, the Wotofo Ultra is perhaps the best all-around. The tight mouth to lung draw is just right and exactly what someone quitting smoking will be looking for because it closely mimics the draw from a cigarette.

The design is also nice but at the same time it isn’t too attention-grabbing which is another pro for these disposables. Most importantly, the draw is smooth and the flavors are all very tasty and this will go a long way to help someone stick with vaping. 

I also like the 8.5ml capacity. Sure, these are larger and not as portable as other disposables but if you find a flavor that you like then you can carry it around and you’re set for up to 3000 puffs.

The only cons I see with these are that the flavors are not easily distinguished by the color of the shell, and that they use micro-USB charging instead of Type-C. Not deal breakers by any means but they are cons that are worth mentioning.

If you’re after a disposable vape with a good draw and good flavor that closely mimics the feeling of drawing on a cigarette, I can easily recommend the Wotofo Ultra disposables.
