Our Verdict

I like what ZOVOO has done with these disposables. If you’re a MTL vaper then you can go with the F8000’s and you’ll be happy with the draw. If you like a RDL or DL draw, the R6000’s will satisfy you and you can blow nice clouds at the same time. Both of these disposables are satisfying to vape on, but the one you pick will be decided by your draw-style preference.

In addition to the nice draws, the flavors are excellent. I liked all four of the flavors that I tried and I wish that they had sent me more because some of the options look like they would be really good.

There are so many disposables out there right now but I can confidently say that you won’t go wrong with either the R6000 or F8000. These are definitely two more great disposable options to add to your shopping list.

BUY DRAGBAR F8000

ZOVOO is a vape brand that currently produces multiple types of disposable vapes. If you take a look at their logo, some vapers might feel that it looks familiar. Well, they wouldn’t be wrong. ZOVOO is the sister company of Voopoo, a company primarily known for their Drag mods, pod mods, and pod vapes. A few of Voopoo’s most popular devices are their Drag 3, Drag X/S, and Drag Nano 2.

Today I’m reviewing two of ZOVOO’s disposable offerings: the DRAGBAR R6000 and the DRAGBAR F8000. These are similar disposables, but they differ in the draw that they provide, the nicotine strength, and the number of puffs. They’re also slightly different in size.

The DRAGBAR R6000 comes filled with 18ml of ejuice in 3mg strength and delivers up to 6000 puffs. It has a 1000mAh battery and can be recharged with Type-C charging. The DRAGBAR F8000 comes filled with 16ml of ejuice in 50mg strength and delivers up to 8000 puffs. It has a 630mAh battery, and can also be recharged with Type-C charging. Both devices have an adjustable airflow slider that allows you to alter your draw.

Are these ZOVOO disposables a hit or a drag? I’ll go over everything that you need to know in this review.

These disposables were sent to me directly by ZOVOO for the purpose of this review.

Design & Build Quality

  • ZOVOO DRAGBAR R6000 and F8000 Disposables - 3

Just as the ZOVOO logo is similar to Voopoo’s logo, the DRAGBAR F8000 and DRAGBAR R6000 are also similar to Voopoo’s devices. To me, they look very much like disposable versions of the original Drag X & Drag S, and I suppose that they are in a way. Of course, these disposables don’t have buttons or a screen, but the shapes are unmistakably similar.

These are tall for disposables in general, but not much taller than other large-capacity disposables. These are actually similar in height to the original Drag X and Drag S. The DRAGBAR R6000 is 124.7mm tall, 31.2mm wide, and 32.8mm deep, not a big difference from the 124mm x 32.5mm x 28mm specs of the Drag X; in fact, it’s actually taller and thicker!

The DRAGBAR R8000 is also taller and thicker than the Drag S at 119mm tall, 29.16mm wide, and 29.8mm thick. For comparison, the Drag S is 116mm tall and 28mm thick. These DRAGBAR’s are similar in size to Voopoo’s pod mods so don’t be expecting small little disposables if you get them.

Not only the size is inspired by the Drag pod mods, but also the textures and angles. The DRAGBAR R6000 and F8000 both have round bodies with a flat front. The drip tip is shaped like a pod tank, more so on the R6000 than the F8000 (which is lower profile).

Both of these disposables also have a leather-textured back grip that, while it isn’t actual leather, does look convincing. The texture is also done well, but running a fingernail over it tells you that it’s plastic right away. This leather-textured grip has “DRAG” imprinted onto it. Both devices are made entirely out of PC and PCTG.

  • ZOVOO DRAGBAR R6000 and F8000 Disposables - Airflow Adjustment Slider

Just compare these disposables and the Drag X/S and you’ll see how similar they look, even down to small details like the lines in the “grip”. It’s pretty cool how ZOVOO designed this device because it feels more like a pod mod than a disposable, and I think that this was their goal too.

There is a large DRAGBAR logo printed on the front, flat side of the DRAGBAR R6000 and F8000. Underneath this logo is the ZOVOO logo, and underneath that the flavor is printed in very small print. It’s a minor con, but it would be nice if the flavor was labeled in a larger font.

On the bottom of these disposables is where you’ll find the airflow adjustment slider. It’s almost a semi-circle shape and allows you to adjust the draw in a wide range. The R6000 is made for restricted direct lung (RDL) vaping and can go from a DL draw to a RDL draw. The F8000 is meant for mouth-to-lung (MTL) vaping and will deliver from a loose MTL draw to a quite tight MTL draw.

Next to the airflow adjustment is a Type-C charging port. Both the R6000 and F8000 can be recharged, which means that you’ll be able to vape all of the ejuice that they come prefilled with.

Flavors

ZOVOO DRAGBAR R6000 and F8000 Disposables - 1

The DRAGBAR R6000 and F8000’s both come in the same 10 flavors. The R6000 is listed as having 15 flavors but I could only find 10 on the ZOVOO website. These flavors include fruit, tobacco, and candy flavors. If you’re into menthol then they also have fruit and menthol combos.

For this review I was sent 4 flavors: two for the R6000 and two for the F8000. I’m going to describe how each flavor tastes to me and what I think of them. Keep in mind that just because I like a flavor does not mean that you will like it, and vice-versa. This is solely my subjective opinion.

Little Green Man

Little green man tastes like gummy green candy. I like that this flavor is overly sweet. It doesn’t coat your tongue with a sugary flavor like some candy vapes do, but it still tastes great and delivers a nice flavor. It’s a layered taste that comes in mild on the inhale and gets even better when you exhale.

Rainbow Bear

Rainbow Bear is exactly what I expected and it tastes like gummy bears. It’s like taking a handful of gummy bears and shoving them in your mouth. It’s very true to flavor and like Little Green Man, isn’t overly sweet. ZOVOO has done well to make an accurate candy flavor here without overdoing it.

Pineapple Coconut Rum

Pina Colada anyone? That’s exactly what this flavor is, it just isn’t labeled as such. The ingredients are exactly what you would make a pina colada with though and it tastes great. This is a heavy flavor and you can really feel it when you inhale. It’s probably also due to the fact that this was an F8000 flavor which has 50mg nicotine salts, so I don’t expect it would be this heavy if it was in the R6000. It’s accurate though and pleasant to vape on.

Pineapple Grapefruit

You can taste pineapple and grapefruit both mixing together at the same time on both the inhale and the exhale. It’s a pleasant fruit flavor that is easy to vape all day and it’s very ‘summery’. It’s hard to pick a favorite flavor out of these four but if I had to pick, it would be this one just because the mix is done so well.

How do they vape?

ZOVOO DRAGBAR R6000 and F8000 Disposables - 2

The R6000’s come in 3mg/ml nicotine strength and the F8000’s come in 50mg/ml nicotine strength. This makes perfect sense because the R6000 is meant for DL/RDL vaping while the F8000’s are meant to be MTL disposables. No matter the type of vaper that you are, one of these disposables will fit your preferred vaping style.

The R6000’s are good devices for DL vaping. Even with the airflow wide open these still deliver a bit of restriction and can be restricted to a true RDL vape by closing down the airflow all the way. Although a low strength, the 3mg nicotine ejuice is still very satisfying because of the amount of vapor that you get. If you’re into blowing clouds, this is a disposable that you can do it with.

The F8000’s are the opposite. They deliver a loose MTL draw with the airflow wide open, down to a tight MTL draw with the airflow closed. These aren’t devices for clouds by any means. The nicotine strength is high so unless you’re a heavy smoker or ex-smoker looking to quit, I wouldn’t suggest them. The draw is very satisfying and heavy, providing a nice throat hit that you really feel.

Aside from the difference in draw and nicotine strength, these are very similarly performing devices. The draw activation works flawlessly with even a light pull, but it’s tuned well enough that they won’t auto fire in your pocket. I also did not experience any leaking of ejuice from any of my four devices, even after leaving some flavors sitting for a few days at a time. Another good sign is that there wasn’t any ejuice in the packaging when I first opened them so they seem to be very leak resistant.

Verdict

  • After I charged my drag bar f8000 it tasted burnt. I only put it on the charger for a little bit just to make sure it worked. Then I took it off the charger and the hits taste disgusting definitely not how they were before I tried to charge it. Why did it do this and can it be fixed?
